Florida to continue voter purge in defiance of warning

Florida, a key electoral battleground where the 2000 presidential election was decided by a few hundred ballots, will defy the Justice Department's warning to stop its effort to purge ineligible voters, a state spokesman said on Saturday.

-9/11
-The Fort Hood TX massacre by muslim HASAN.
This was the bloodiest massacre in U.S. history committed by one person on U.S. soil.
-The 20+ MILLION illegal muslims in this country who want to take over.
ALL are on welfare AND they get to vote for democRATS.
-The 30+ ILLEGAL Mexicans - all of whom are on welfare AND they get to vote for democRATS.
- Over 30 MILLION fat, lazy, and useless home-grown welfare recipients
-Illegal Mexicans and muslims commit over 4,000 murders of U.S. citizens every year.
Read the multi-million best-selling fact-based book by the Honorable Doctor MICHAEL SAVAGE,
"TRICKLE DOWN TYRANNY"
Hussein Obama is a tyrant, a dictator,
a corrupt islamofascist African warlord.
Several private and PUBLIC schools are adopting this book for mandatory reading.
Students are required to submit book reports.
Adolf Hitler was an evil genius.
HUSSEIN OBAMA is just plain evil.
Wow, I don’t know where to begin with your spew of misinformation.

How exactly is Obama responsible for 9/11?

The crime at Fort Hood is the responsibility of just one person, Nidal Hasan. Obama played no role in the shooting.

Twenty million Muslims in the US illegally? Source of your information?

All of the illegal Mexicans in the US are on Welfare? Proof? Where did your thirty million figure come from? Most sources place the number at about 11 million for all illegal immigrants combined.

If that was the goal why would the state request access to a federal database to validate their list?
O.K one more time, VOTER PURGE IN FLORIDA IS THE LAW, and it was the law before the present administration. AND NO ONE IS DENIED A VOTE, IF YOU DISAGREE WITH A PURGE, YOU GET A PROVISIONAL BALLET, THAT MEANS YOU GET TO VOTE. Lets try telling the truth instead of the tired leftist rhetoric. You know your in a shitty situation so you start making excuses early. You may be able to convince simple minded people, that the sky is falling. But anyone with half a brain knows that this is not voter suppression. If you had a good candidate then you have good turnout and you win. Your just making excuses for possibly a poor showing.

why would this dampen turnout? No reason to. Everyone should want illegals off the rolls. It robs actual voters of their rights. It is theft of liberty and democracy.

You do understand that it was the Supervisors of Elections in each County that sent out the letters, requesting information, etc. on those with a discrepancy? Supervisors of Elections come from Republican and Democrat (and maybe more) parties.

If only minorities have been hit, then perhaps it's the minorities who have caused their registrations to be questioned. And example, widely publicized, is the 91 y/o veteran...if he hadn't lied way back decades ago to get his driver's license, there wouldn't have been an age/birthdate discrepancy. That's the Elections' officials fault how?

There's no need to show evidence of their desires. the FACT is they have been purging and attempting to purge eligible voters.

"Already, a Pasco County woman and a 91-year-old World War II veteran from Broward County have made headlines for being wrongfully targeted. In fact, elections supervisors found that most names on the list belong to citizens -- probably because the motor vehicle department’s citizenship information is out of date, the Miami Herald reported." http://www.politifact.com/florida/statements/...

The 91 year old veteran had at one point given an incorrect birth date. Access to the database may have cleared that problem.

BTW, here’s the Fox story on the man http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/05/31/fl...

The Pasco woman is a republican. You’re blaming the Republicans for the purge. Why would they purge one of their own? Access to the federal database may have caught this error as well.

Florida is suing for access to the federal database to cleanse their own list of questionable voters.

Clearly you support people illegally voting and expect the dead to get out of their grave to show up at the polls.

Maybe, but just like her so many people on here talk shit, that I automatically tune out the noise, she made me that way, at least, thats story, and I`m sticking to it. Actually I was following the thread, I meant to clarify your point, but , probably should have posted it alone rather then a reply. That being said, I posted all the FACTS regarding the purge, and the phony cry of voter surpression.

Really?
n 2005, the U.S. Government Accountability Office found that up to 3 percent of the 30,000 individuals called for jury duty from voter registration rolls over a two-year period in just one U.S. district court were not U.S. citizens. Source: http://www.thecuttingedgenews.com/index.php...
Does lightning hit someone 3% of the time?
That BULLSH!T proves not a DAMN thing. Many people do many unessential things to get out of jury duty....being called for jury duty is not voting.

A few dozen out of millions? Not true and you know it. Even so, one is too many.
Clearly you don’t understand our Constitution and laws of this nation. Holder has lied to congress. Holder must turn over documents to congress. Obama can not legally issue executive order to protect Holder. He’s a president, not an emperor.
You’re presuming I agreed with Bush. No, I was glad to see him go. Just because Bush did it doesn’t mean it’s acceptable for Obama to do it. Clinton used executive privilege fourteen times. Using your logic Bush would be better than Clinton.
One of Obama’s promises prior to election was transparency. Has he lived up to that promise? Obama’s base support is diminishing, his support among Democrats is diminishing. His use of executive privilege to protect a crony is unacceptable.
Since you would reject anything published by Fox here’s something from a liberal source.
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/06/20/obam...
Funny though, Obama is having a really bad month. Don’t expect the shit storm to diminish between now and November. Do you really believe he’ll be re-elected?

You do a good job of repeating the BULLSH!T from the Reich-wing hate-mongers, race-baiters, and conspiracy freaks.

Anyone who claims "Obama can not legally issue executive order to protect Holder" is seriously misinformed. "President Bush invoked executive privilege today for the first time in his administration to block a Congressional committee trying to review documents about a decades-long scandal involving F.B.I. misuse of mob informants in Boston. His order also denied the committee access to internal Justice Department deliberations about President Bill Clinton's fund-raising tactics." http://www.nytimes.com/2001/12/14/us/bush-cla...

The HuffPo article did contain a couple of very accurate quote that reflect a couple of very accurate statements:

“What we just witnessed was an extreme, virtually unprecedented action based on election year politics rather than fact,”

"At the end of the day, I really don't think the contempt motion is going to have any legal consequences."

"Not true and you know it" If you have any evidence to the contrary, source it....otherwise STFU!

"Funny though, Obama is having a really bad month. " Ooh really?

Please pay attention...many jurors are summoned from the voters' registration rolls. Florida just recently changed that to driver's licenses. It has absolutely nothing to do with excuses to get out of jury duty.

You obviously didn't read the linked article. Actually the GAO 'study' didn't have a hell of a lot of credibility to begin with....and then von Spakovsk distorted the hell out of it. von Spakovsky’s propaganda POS article remains DEBUNKED.

"The GAO study as a whole belies von Spakovsky’s assertion, however. The 2005 report features data from 14 U.S. district courts...Ten of the 14 district courts surveyed, then, could offer no evidence whatsoever of non-citizens in jury pools.

Ignoring this, von Spakovsky presents isolated data from just one of these fourteen jurisdictions. Further, 3 of the 4 courts that did report non-citizens in their jury pools estimated that non-citizens
comprised, respectively, approximately 1%, 0.158%, and 0.01% of the jury pool..."
