So, where were these 1,008 americans from. If they were from San Fancisco or new York City then they may reflect that city more than the average person.

I was surprised that Ms Zabarenko was that fair about her reporting consider her background. After all, she mentioned that others would consider the economy the big issue which matches what many other experts are also saying will be the big issue. After all, with so many unemployeed or underemployeed for so long and others still struggling that were not four years ago they are going to remeber that and the changes that happened after they voted for hope and change. Which means that those currently in office are going to feel that anger.

any liberal paper or TV station can round up 1000 old brain dead hippies and young silly trendies to get the result they want. The only vote that counts is when EVERYONE votes.

Sure, just go to any Leberal Arts schools and take a poll. Take all of ten minutes. The real story is that amazingly small sample size. Of how many millions of people in the US and they only surveyed 1,008.

And yes, the real vote is going to be held in November and the economy and not the enviroment will be the big issue. After all, broke, cold, and hungry people are not worried about it being a warm winter. If your homeless then you would consider a good thing.

The survey report is here: http://environment.yale.edu/climate/files/Pol...

It was a weighted national survey by Yale and George Mason U, via Knowledge Networks, which has fielded the survey six times since 2008.

Funny thing is when you look at who is doing the study you discover that the mission statement is one of social activism. One that is more about a political agenda than an enviromental.

According to the survery:

40% think global warming should be a high or very high priority.

60% think is should be a medium or low priority.

The survey question I'd like to see would ask

Do you want the government to spend a billion dollars on global warming or reducing the national debt?

Oh they already did.
