Really sick. And to think they have a statue of Abraham Lincoln in the same place as this vermin.

I don't mean to bring the Bible into this, but I often wonder if it wasn't referring to people like Mandela when Jesus said there would be false prophets in the final days. These would be people that would be accepted without question, with very few opposing them.

Mandela is just such a false "angel of light". He once wrote a short treatise entitled "How to be a Good Communist" in which he gave passing praise even to Stalin. He received Communist guerrilla warfare training in Ethiopia. He was convicted of conspiracy to plan terrorism and sabotage, not for his political views, the reason why Amnesty International never pleaded his case or called him a political prisoner. His ANC thugs, with the goading of the insane Winnie Mandela, murdered hundreds of innocent blacks in the 1980's. They would put soak a tire in gasoline, put it around the victim's neck, and set it on fire. This was called a necklace.

Tamsanqua Linda, a great but unsung true black South African hero, was a former township mayor and a member of Mandela's own Xhosa tribe. At great risk to himself and his supporting family, he made public attempts to expose Mandela for the Marxist terrorist that he was. As a result he was put on the ANC's top 10 death list, his market was firebombed, and his family was shot at. No one in the West has heard from him since Mandela came to power.

In a case that touched home, my father was a ham radio operator who communicated daily with a man from South Africa. This man, who never talked politics, employed a black woman as a maid. Working for a white man was considered a "crime against the people" by the ANC "comrades", so one day they visited her home, dragged her out onto the street in front of her family, and stabbed her death. SHE REMAINS UNKNOWN TO THE WORLD, BUT SHE DIED SO THE THUG MANDELA COULD COME TO POWER.

This monster of a liar came to power and put 1 million more blacks into unemployment because of his and the ANC's socialist policies. He was succeeded in power by Thabo Mbeki, leader of Umkonto We Sizwe "Spear of the Nation", the terrorist military wing of the ANC responsible for the necklacings and bombings of so many innocent black South Africans.

When Mandela left prison, rather than expressing a reformed attitude he continued to express allegiance to the Communist Party and to people like the white Soviet KGB agent Joe Slovo. According to his own testimony, this broke the heart of the Rev. Sipo Mzimela, a former non-communist ANC member who broke with the ANC over its ties to the Soviets and Communism.

If they wanted to honor true South African black opponents of apartheid, they should have built statues of Linda or Mzimela, or at least Buthelezi if they wanted somebody famous (though I think he was a bit too much of a compromiser). Don't honor this pro-Soviet, pro-Castro criminal.

Sorry people for the above repeats. This is how things are when Topix goes psycho. It makes you believe a post was not made, then you do it over again, then you think maybe the post is too long (even though it doesn't say so) because nothing is working, so you split it up, only to find that it looks like (at first) only Part II is posted. Now, a while later I come back and its all a mess.

Topix--get it together.

Maybe they'll stop teaching about truth John wrote about in UK schools too. Might offend a minority or two. Wouldn't want that in proud UK, would we :)

Remi. It just dawned on me. You have absolutely no idea what happened or what South Africa is and was about.

The black people that was killed wasn't traitors. Have you seen what a necklessed 80-year old black lady, or 16-year old kid looks like. If you did you would retract that statement.

It is obvious that you were totaly influenced by one sided propaganda orchestrated by communists in the 80's.

Wow. Cool.
Now all they need are statues of Karl Marx, Adolf Hitler, Stalin, Fidel and Che.

While they're at it, they might as well throw in one of Saddam Hussein.

Well, at least you spelled fascist right. Many of your compatriots cannot. I don't mind the label "rightwing". However, how you get that I am a socialist out of all I wrote is beyond me.

I'd say we need fewer Brits telling the South Africans what to do. Matter of fact, seems to me from British history you guys liked to tell the whole world what to do.

Mandela wasn't even British, so how is he your business?

This would be the definition of a black South African traitor to you in the 1980's: any black South African who felt no allegiance to the white Soviet government in Moscow.
