I heard yesterday on Cities 97 and saw a 4-pg. spread in City Pages that there is a festival at Harriet Island this weekend.

Not a very thorough or compelling product you are putting out.

If you are going to extend the geography an give some love to our neighbors in Wisconsin and even Chicago how can you leave out the Bayfront Blues right here in the great state of Minnesota and the beautiful port of Duluth. I agree with 612 Hip you did a pretty half a** job on this story. I'm curious did the ones listed pay a promotional fee to get in the story?

Ok, I have to say I take great offense at you referring to Sawyer Brown as B-list. First of all, there are only a handful, literally, of artists who are still selling albums and concerts after 27 years. Let's see who's paying to read your thoughts 25 years from now. Second, just because the country music industry has turned into a "flavor of the month" competition for airtime, doesn't diminish the boys' ability to rock any venue like it's never been rocked before. Sawyer Brown is still writing, recording and performing the best music out there. I wonder how many artists can claim fans that have been supporting their career for 20+ years, traveling to 500+ shows across the US and Canada. So before you call them B-list again, I suggest to see their show. You won't make the same mistake again.

Wow. You only ignored one of the largest, longest running music festivals in the Upper Midwest, Bayfront Blues Fest (20th year this year). Instead, you write up two Chicago festivals and devote half the story to Radiohead, who isn't playing any closer than 400 miles away? Pathetic.
