Singing "chicken catcher," farmer and Mayfield, Ky., native Kevin Skinner was crowned the new champion of "America's Got Talent" on the NBC broadcast last night, MTV.com reports.

I prayed every time I saw Kevin . He so deserved to win that competion. He is so humble and down to earth and for sure represented KENTUCKY very well.I am wanting so bad to buy a CD with his voice, I live in Ca. now but I was voting for him every time I could. I wish him and his family the very best and that he stays the same person he was when he won. GOD is with you KEVIN!GOOD LUCK!

I really liked Kevin and my heart goes out to him and his family. I truly wish them the best of everything. But! Here it comes! He has very limited talent. He should not have won America's Got Talent. When the networks create a "Humble and Down to Earth Show", he should win! It was an injustice to the talented people who were there pouring their hearts out. The best to you Kevin! Take advantage of this opportunity. Don
