Change is something that we all must accept from time to time. I would say the meaning of the peace symbol and the intent behind it has changed. Just like it use to be rude and unheard of to wear black to a wedding, and now many brides choose this color as one of their wedding colors or girls wouldn't be caught dead wearing pants to school! Things change, time changes things. It is often us, as adults, that ponder what use to be when often times we need to let it go. The history is interesting but nothing more.
