I haven't been able to find any indication of who the opening act(s) will be.

Anyone care to make a prediction?

It could quite possibly be Airbourne because they are in the States at the moments and with the style of music Airbourne play I reckon AC/DC would probably ask them to open.

They might not have a support, especially on UK dates

I'd rather sit anxiously for an extra hour than see an opening act. I'm not going to look back on the concert and talk about the opening act, it's all about DC for me. Although if I had to take a guess, Jet would probably make the most sense. Anyone who wants to see Airbourne as an opening act would be like saying they will go to an AC/DC tribute concert and hour before the real concert.

That's right I don't want to listen to Airbourne when I am about to listen to the real deal.

I'm glad someone agrees. I'm buying a ticket to see AC/DC, not AC/DC and someone else. The only thing an opening act will do for AC/DC is make you realize how great DC's music is compared to everyone else's.

HOW MUCH IS TOO MUCH? I JUST PAID 200 FOR PLAZA LEVEL SEATING FOR THE SAN ANTONIO SHOW. I WOULD HAVE SPENT MORE IF I HAD IT TO SEE THEM BUT JUST LOOKING FOR AN OPINION.

You are right. I wasn't asking the question in hope of an opening act, I would rather just see AC/DC as you would. I was just hoping I didn't have to sit through some crap like "The Poor " like I had to in 1996 when I first seen AC/DC at the Forum in Los Angelas

I figured that's what you meant, I was just stating my opinion. Lol yeah, The Poor doesn't sound too much like a good opening for an AC/DC concert, or a concert in general.

And whoever thinks an opener is a necessity, think twice. This will be AC/DC's last tour, nobody is going to remember it for the opening act, and an opening act would just cost more money in general and would bore the fans. This is an AC/DC farewell tour, not just a regular one. All an opening act does is set the stage for the main act, but AC/DC's stage has already been set for the past 8 years.

when I talked about their stage being set, I meant since the last tour. of course their main stage has been set since they formed, but for this tour it's been for the past 8 years.
