Do "sovereign nations" have the right to defraud US citizens in the US?

This should be interesting. If the court decides to hear the case then it could have some pretty broad ramifications. The sovereignty thing comes up often and will do so even more as the tribes expand into other businesses and off of the tribal land itself. It isn't an easy question or answer on either side. I do disagree with the often used defense against some criminal activity (including child neglect/abuse) as "culturally appropriate." This is invoked not only in tribal issues but in other cultures as well, Hmong and Mexican as an example.

what are these kick backs you speak of Anonymous? indians pay federal taxes just like you do. or maybe you don't. the Pacific Legal Foundation often looks to litigate against indians. people did not give a crap about indians until their "new wealth" now everyone want a piece.

Daily Horoscope for December 28

Scorpio

The thought of the sales is almost too good to resist today, and you'll jump at the chance to see what's on offer. Even better if you can snap up some bargains at the same time. It's certainly a good day for investing your money carefully, but make sure you aren't more seduced by the reduction in the cost of something than in the item itself. Are you certain that you want to buy it?
