I just made a new thread. This is all about Unova Pokemon and the entire 5th generation due to the upcoming release of Pokemon Black and White on March 6. No Unova haters or anti-Unova talk allowed. Good luck Unova fans. :)
#2 Feb 11, 2011
I'll start this thread. I can't wait to get Pokemon Black and White. Even though Pokemon Black and White does have many flaws like the lack of Unova Pikachu locations. It's OK to say things that upsets you in Pokemon Black and White like "no Unova Safari Zone". But you cannot say negative talk like "I hate Unova Pokemon" or "GameFreak is running out of ideas when 5th generation is announced". Anyway, Unova is based on America (I hate Japan Poekmon is more popular than international Pokemon appearance. Bring back international Pokemon is always huge appearance). I'm glad Unova is based on America, not Japan. I had enough of Pokemon in Japan crap. We need more international Pokemon love. Anyway, there are 156 Unova Pokemon like Oshawott and Blitzle. If you're interested with Unova Pokemon like Snivy and Klink, then discuss this thread. Let's see if you can come up of your own Unova Pokemon discussion in this thread. Good luck.:)

Hey guys, I just made my list of things that annoys me in Pokemon Black and WHite. Here they are.
My most annoying Pokemon Black and White things:
NO POKEMON FOLLOWING YOU (Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver ftw)
No apps or anything fun on the touch screen (I miss the daycare app...)
No vs seeker (What the fart? Only a select few in certain places???)
No Unova rematches. Boo.(Bring back Vs. Seeker)
No gym leader rematches.(Third versions and remakes ftw)
No phone calls (I miss the pokegear already).
No ribbons / contests / pokethlon (no minigames really).
Musical - no interaction. Not fun at all, you're not judged or graded and you can't skip it...takes ages too and there's only 4 settings to select.
Gimmicky ranger-style region.(Pokemon Ranger sucks, traditional Pokemon map ftw)
The region map is very linear, there's no secret little rivers that take you back to old routes, caves that connect up, etc. They don't link up at all, you just follow a line through the whole game.
Nothing much to do after E4, there's a few towns and old pokemon show up which are like level 70. Trainers are level 70 but it's really boring after E4, there's no island or new map area after you beat the game.
Intro isn't very good, it has some drawn scenes which are awesome but then it's just videos of the game. Where are the full-length sprited intros in the beginning like we used to have?
The credits are really lame, no pokemon running around or anything special. No video of the region with your hero cycling through it, no pixel art, just black and white text.
Battle backgrounds are ugly, the bases are 3D and really pixellated cos they're so zoomed in.
HGSS had this thing where as you got closer to things that made sound you heard them (sea, wind turbines, caves)- This game doesn't.
No auto-run button...
No Unova HMs (At least Dive HM is back. You can only use it in one place that is like an underwater maze. There's no wild pokemon though.
Less touch screen compatibility - you could do anything with the touch screen on HGSS.
No legendary trio story, no cool cave mazes or labyrinths. Just 3 new small caves show up to hold them in.
Dex is based on seen not caught, and you don't need to see them all to get nat dex.
No Unova Pokedex Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh Pokemon (Good thing Kanto/Johto/Hoenn/Sinnoh Pokemon will be in the Unova dex in the 3rd version.)
No Unova cross-generation evolutions (no Unova Eevee evolutions?)
No Ice/Steel duel type (GamFreak is stupid for not making an Ice/Steel duel type Pokemon. Ice Pokemon is crap nowadays.)
No Unova Poison duel types.(No Poison/Dragon? Boo. No Ghost/Steel duel type either)
No Water Absorb Tortouga/Carracosta (GameFreak is lazy for not making a Water Absorb Water/Rock duel type.)
No Bug/Steel duel type Levitate Pokemon.(Escavalier really needs Levitate)
No Levitate Ferrothorn
No fishing rod til after E4 - only 1 fishing rod in entire game.
Highlink is pretty useless, its all greyed out and you can't enter most places.
No secret bases / decoration placing.
The lack of Unova Pokeballs, no Johto Pokeballs like Friend Ball either.(Only 1 Unova Pokeball? Dream Ball is garbage)
No berry growing or finding in the ground like fr/lg.
No pokefood (pokeblocks, pofin, aprijuice.)
No pokeradar or sinnoh sound or anything.
To be continued...
#4 Feb 11, 2011
Nothing new like the photo album in HGSS.
Bike has only 1 gear.
Nothing like the wifi club, the Global trade centre is also just 1 room now.
Friendship tester is useless.
Pokemon appareances do not differ between day/night.
Tall grass is ugly, I much prefer the hg/ss style.
No battle frontier.
No Unova Battle Tower (Battle Subway sucks)
The hero you don't chose doesn't exist. They should show up and be another rival of sorts like the past 3 gens.(At least the opposite gender exist in Battle Subway though.)
Too many old pokemon after E4, every wild battle is a new one.
No Unova Pikachu after E4 (You can't get Dreamworld Pikachu in Dreamworld either)
Start of battle has animation of you throwing pokemon out - it takes ages and you can't turn it off. Slows down the game SO MUCH.
Trainer's back sprite-less version of Pokemon battle intro (Why did the trainer's back sprite appears after the trainer's Pokemon is sent out or the wild Pokemon exist?)
Moving the trainer on its own appearance version of walking inside the building system
No Unova Safari Zone (Why can't Unova have a Safari Zone?)
No Unova Game Corner (I hate you TPCI for ruining Pokemon's Game Corner by censoring slots)
No Unova Eevee (You can't get Dreamworld Eevee in Dreamworld without AR codes or DW events)
Dreamworld (Gamefrak is lazy for not making Pikachu and Eevee obtainable in Dream World)
Too many crappy Dreamworld Pokemon (you cannot get Dreamworld Levitate Pokemon, Dreamworld Pikachu, or Dreamworld Unova Pokemon in Dreamworld)
Linear story, no sidequests or stories.
Barely any places where you can use a HM (apart from surf)
Barely any pixel art, it's all 3D from now on
No E3 Pokemon Black and White announcement (I hate recieving Nintendo Event Raikou/Entei/Suicune/Celebi from Pokemon movie 13 version of announcing Pokemon Black and White in Japan)
No traditional move tutors like Ice Punch Move Tutor (That's why I love third versions and remakes)
Europe version of United States Poekmon Black and White announcement (TPCI craps all over US Pokemon announcements by putting Europe in it)
Europe releasing Pokemon Balck and White before the US
Backwards compatility (I hate transfer version of backwards compatibility. PokeShifter is stupid. Why can't they remove the backwards compatibility?)
No Pokewalker compatibility.(That's why I love Pokemon Heart Gold and Soul Silver. Even though I hate Pokewalker)
C-Gear (C-Gear is stupid. PokeGear, PokeNav, and Poketch is better)
That's it. There are alot of flaws in Pokemon Black and White. But still, Pokemon Black and White is gonna be amazing. I'm really looking forward to get Pokemon Black and White when I have spring off. See ya.:)

I'm back. Now, it's time to do some Unova Pokemon discussions. Finally, all English Unova Pokemon names were out. Now I can put the English names to the Pokemon mini guide articles. Anyway, I make a mini guide about beating the 1st gym leader in Pokemon Black and White. First of all, you cannot fight 3 gym leaders at once. You can only battle 1 gym based on your starter that you picked. If you pick Snivy, you'll face Chili. If you pick Tepig, you'll face Cress. If you pick Oshawott, you'll face Cilan. All three gym leaders will use Lillipup. So use Stab regular damages to take out Lillipup. If you're battling against Chili, he will use Pansear. If you're battling against Cress, he will use Panpour. If you're battling against Cilan, he will use Pansage. Use a monkey battle slave based on the type that a girl gave you when you go to a dream place. The monkey Pokemon that you got in a dream place will be very handy against a compatible gym leader's monkey Pokemon. That type of your monkey Pokemon is a type that is weak against your starer's type. Use a monkey Pokemon against the gym leader's monkey Pokemon. So if you're facing Chili, use Panpour. If you pick Tepig, grab a Pansage and fight Cress's Panpour. As long as you face Cilan, make sure you bring Pansear for battling against Cilan's Pansage. That gym leader's monkey Pokemon is weak against your monkey Pokemon. So use it and you're done. Once you beat 1 out of 3 gym leaders, you'll get your first gym badge in Black and White. Now, I'll make more mini guides for Pokemon Black and White ingame battles. Until than, see ya. :)

man i hope pokemon black and white comes quick!! i hope march 6 comes quick!! im probably gonna get pokemon white :)
#7 Feb 15, 2011
I'm getting Pokemon Black because I'm gonna use Reshiram when I get bored of playing Pokemon Black. Also, Pokemon Black and White is our only hope to make Pokemon outside of Japan huge again as Unova is based on New York City. That's why Pokemon needs more love internationally. Pokemon really has to stop focus on Japan too much. That method made Pokemon lost the international popularity/marketing fast. Remember too much Pokemon hate outside of Japan nowadays? LOL. By the way Pokemon season 14 already starts 2 days before Valentine's Day on Cartoon Network. Unova episodes looked really good. So you should check out Unova episodes over today's crappy shows like Fanboy And Chum-Chum. I hope kids will start doing Unova Pokemon instead of crappy modern things like Cars and Bakugan. Unova is waiting for you on March 6.
#8 Feb 15, 2011
Hey guys. I just make a guide on beating the first Gym Leader in Pokemon Black and White. This is where you get to fight Cilan/Cress/Chili in Pokemon Black and White. Here we go.
Battling Against Cilan/Cress/Chili:
Lillipup (Lv 12)
Pansear (Lv 14)(Chili only)
Panpour (Lv 14)(Cress only)
Pansage (Lv 14)(Cilan only)
Unlike other gyms, this gym will have 3 gym leaders instead of 1. However, you cannot fight 3 gym leaders. You can only fight 1 gym leader. Each gym leader will have Lillipup. But 1 gym leader will have his own monkey Pokemon. You will fight 1 gym leader depends on your starter Pokemon that you picked. If you pick Snivy, you will fight Chili. If you pick Tepig, you will fight Cress. If you pick Oshawott, you will fight Cilan. Cilan/Chili/Cress will start with Lillipup. Lillipup is easy to beat. So use your strong starter Pokemon or other strong non-starter like Patrat. Once you beat Lillipup, the next Pokemon will be a monkey Pokemon based on your start that you picked. If you have a type advantage monkey that a girl gave you from the abandoned dreams place, you your type advantage monkey against the gym leader's type advantages weak monkey. Once you beat 1 of the 3 gym leaders, 1 of the gym leaders will give you the first gym badge. You will not fight the other 2 gym leaders. So if you have trouble taking down a gym leader use this guide. That guide will help you beat the first leader and get the first badge. Also, you cannot fight the other 2 and you will only fight 1. So if you pick Snivy, you will only fight Chili. That's it. You will not use Snivy against Cress or Cilan. If you pick Tepig, you cannot fight Cilan or Chili and you cannot fight Cress or Chili if you pick Oshawott. That's it for this guide. Have fun beating the first Unova gym leader.
That's it. Until then, peace out.

By the way, if you like Unova starters, then I made this article for you, enjoy.
Sniy, Tepig, And Oshawott Article
Unova first appeared in Pokemon Black and White for Nintendo DS. Pokemon Black and White is the 6th and 7th Nintendo DS Pokemon version respectively. The starter Pokemon in Pokemon Black and White will be Grass, Water, and Fire just like in the previously generations. There are 156 new Pokemon in Black and White. That's right. 156 Unova Pokemon like Zoroark and Gigalith. The starter Pokemon are Snivy, Tepig, and Oshawott. Anyway, let's start with Snivy. Shall we? Good. Here we go. The Grass starter Pokemon is Snivy. Snivy is a snake Pokemon that has arms and feet. Snivy is a Grass type and learns an attack that can mix with grass. It evolve into Servine. Servine is a Pokemon that resembles a snake with hands and feet. That Pokemon is Grass itself only just like Chikorita and its evolutions and Treecko and its evolutions. Then, Servine evolves into Serperior. Serperior is a Pokemon that resembles a green snake just like Arbok and Seviper. Serperior is Grass only. Serperior can learn, Leaf Blade like Grovyle and Sceptile. Snivy cannot learn Razor Leaf like Treecko. Only Bulbasaur, Chikorita, and Turtwig learns Razor Leaf. Also, unlike Treecko and Turtwig, Snivy can learn Vine Whip lust like Bulbasaur and Chikorita. Now, let's move on to Tepig. That Pokemon is a pig Pokemon. Tepig evolves into an oval humanoid orange pig Pokemon, Pignite. The only 5th generation starter dual type is Pignite, which evoles from Tepig. There are no new 5th generation starter dual types. The only 5th generation starter dual type is Fire/Fighting just like Combusken from Hoenn and Monferno from Sinnoh. Also, none of the starters gain part Ground unlike Mudkip and Turtwig. Anyway, Tepig can learn Flame Charge while Pignite also learns Arm Thrust that was learned by Makuhita and Hariyama. Pignite evolves into a Pokemon that is a humanoid orange pig with fire shoulders called Emboar, it can learn an attack that stamps the opponent with fire just like Grass Knot. Emboar can also learn Hammer Arm like Swampert. In my opinion, Emboar is a Blaziken and Infernape ripoff. Stop making Fire/Fighting dual types. Also, Emboar has horrible Defenses and Speed. So stick with Blaziken and Infernape. The last starter Pokemon is a Water Pokemon, Oshawott. Oshawott is an otter Pokemon that resembles Piplup. When it evolves into its final evolution called Samurott, it will always stay Water itself like Squirtle and Totodile. Oshawott learns Razor Shell. It evolves into a blue samurai cat Pokemon, Dewott, that resembles Marshtomp. You know, Dewott does look like Marshtomp in my opinion. Like other Water starters excluding Piplup, it learns Water Gun. When Dewott evolves into Samurott, a blue 4-legged samurai mammal Pokemon that resembles Dialga, it learns Megahorn. You know, Samurott does look like Dialga though. Anyway, Heracross can learn Megahorn which is why Samurott can interestingly learn Megahorn. Samurott can learn Megahorn which is for taking out Grass Pokemon that are weak against Bug attacks like Ludicolo. Samurott is considered is best of all 5th generation starters. That's it for this article.
Have fun Snivy/Tepig/Oshawott lovers.:)

Have fun playing your new Pokemon Black and White today.
Unova English Pokemon Names List
Next up, GameSpot review and IGN review.:)

GameSpot review is up on Friday. Why did GameSpot give Pokemon Black/White 7.5? I hate 7.5 version of GameSpot reviews. Why GameSpot? Why do you give Pokemon Black/White, 7.5? Pokemon Black/White should get more than 8.0. Why GameSpot, why?*shudders* GameSpot, you stink for giving it 7.5. You should give Pokemon Black/White much higher than 8.0. GameSpot, you better rate Pokemon Black/White much higher.*shaking fists* You did really well giving Pokemon Platinum and Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver an 8.0 out of 10. You really have to treat Pokemon versions well. Yes, this is the GameSpot review for the UK release.*angers heavily* You ruined Pokemon Black/White review by giving it 7.5, GameSpot. F(bleep) you, GameSpot. F(bleep) you. >:(

I'm back. Now, I'll make my more annoying things where I left off.
More of my most annoying Pokemon Black and White things:
YouTube videos version of Pokemon Black and White battles.(Why is YouTube videos ruining Unova's type advantages performances all of a sudden?)
Having your Scrafty fainted before Vanilluxe sent out and defeated by your other Pokemon.
Having your Excadrill fainted before Bisharp sent out and defeated by your other Pokemon.(I want to see Excadrill defeat Bisharp appearance.)
Having your Emboar fainted before Bisharp sent out and defeated by your other Pokemon.(Good thing I saw Emboar defeated Grimsley's Bisharp.)
Having your Darmanitan fainted before Alder's Escavalier sent out and defeated by your other Pokemon.(At least I saw Darmanitan creamed Alder's Escavalier)
GameSpot's 7.5 score (I hate 7.5 version of GameSpot review. Stupid GameSpot for giving Pokemon Black and White 7.5. I hope GameSpot gives the next Pokemon version, 8.0/8.5/9.0.)
No Unova Psychic/Fighting dual type.
No Unova Rock/Steel dual type.(Rock/Steel is not very popular. Stupid competitive battles for making Rock/Steel underused. I hate other Steel dual types is better than Rock/Steel dual type appearance.)
No Unova Bug/Flying dual type.(Hooray!)
No Unova Psychic/Steel duel type.
No Unova Ice/Water dual type.
No Unova Water/Bug dual type.(I hate Surskit.)
No Unova Eevee evolutions.
No DreamWorld Pikachu locations in DreamWorld.
People saying, "Pokemon Black and White sucks."
"I hate Pokemon Black and White" appearance.
People bashing Pokemon Black and White.
Pokemon Black and White haters.
The lack the many side quests after you beat Alder.
People saying negative opinions to Pokemon Black and White.
Unova type advantage user fainted before the opponent sent out a disadvantages Unova Pokemon and then got creamed by your other Unova Pokemon.(I want to see "Scrafty defeat Vanniluxe" appearance.)
Whew, that's it. I saw the IGN review for Pokemon Black and White last night and gives it a 9. IGN loves Pokemon versions as much as GameSpot does. Pokemon Black and White is finally out. I'll get my copy of Pokemon Black this April. Until then, see ya later.:)

I'm back. Ash's newest gym battle episode was aired in Japan last night. 2 Team Plasma vs. Team Rock episodes was delayed due to Earthquakes. Ash's Burgh battle was ruined. Why did Ash beat Burgh's Leavanny with Pikachu? Ash's Fire Pokemon hit Bug Pokemon appearance already go downhill. I can't believe it. Ash's type advantages hit Bug Pokemon appearance has lost its touch. I can't believe Ash's Tepig was defeated first before Ash's Sewaddle defeat Burgh's Dwebble second. I hate opponent's Pokemon defeat Ash's Pokemon appearance goes first version of Ash win the battle appearance. Why did Ash use Sewaddle in the gym battle? He suppose to use Tranquill against Whirlipede and Leavanny and Oshawott is suppose to take on Dwebble. I can't believe Sewaddle beat Dwebble and Whirlipede. Why did Tepig got knocked out before Whirlipede and Leavanny was sent out and defeat by Sewaddle and Pikachu respectively? I hate other Pokemon defeat the opponent's Pokemon appearance is easier than type advantages defeat the opponent's Pokemon appearance appearance version of defeating opponent's Pokemon appearance. I want to see Tepig defeat Whirlipede and Leavanny appearance. Why is Ash's Fire Pokemon/Flying Pokemon hit Bug Pokemon appearance losing its touch? I hate other Pokemon defeat Bug Pokemon appearance is easer than Fire/Flying/Rock Pokemon defeat Bug Pokemon appearance appearance. Type advantages defeat Bug Pokemon appearance is still going downhill. I can't believe Pikachu defeat Leavanny appearance ruined Ash defeat Burgh appearance. Stupid Pikachu defeat Leavanny appearance for ruining Ash wins the battle against Burgh appearance. By the way, Ash's Sewaddle evolves into Swadloon during the battle and take out Whirlipede before it gets beaten by Leavanny. Jessie and James have finally get more Unova spotlight. James got a Yamask. By the way, Ash's Pikachu defeat Ash's gym battles appearance is back. Hooray. It's nice to bring back Ash's Pikachu wins Ash's gym battle appearance. But bringing back Pikachu wins the gym battle appearance ruins Ash's Burgh wins. I hope Ash's Pikachu gets to win Ash's 6th Unova gym battle.

I'm back. I will get my Pokemon teams ready for my Unova quest and here they are.
6th member like Unfezant
My White team prediction is complete while I haven't decide which Pokemon that I might be using. If I'll use Swanna then I might getting a grass type like Whimsicott. Otherwise, if I pick Unfezant, then I'll have to go with Jellicent or Simisear. I will decide when I'll get Pokemon Black. See ya.:)
#19 Mar 31, 2011
I'm back. I hate Jessie and James-less version of Pokemon episodes. Why? Why Unova episodes hates Unova Jessie and James appearance? Unova episodes refuse to hate Jessie and James. The writers refuse to put Jessie and James on BW16, BW18, BW19, BW20, BW21, BW27, and now, BW28. Why did the writers refuse to make Jessie and James appear in these episodes. Jeesie and James already lost its touch thanks to Unova writers for not having Jessie and James to get some Unova screentime. Why is the writer lazy to get Unova screentime for Jessie and James? Unova hates Jessie and James. By the way, these episodes was aired in Japan recently and not dubbed yet. Unova episodes, please show more Unova's Jessie and James screentime.
