..... As I remember it, health care is a matter of Provincial, not Federal, responsibility, and it is a group of giant insurance schemes. Usually insurance costs are paid by premiums by covered people over many years, but obviously refugees have not been doing that. So the taxpayers have to pay, and decisions related to what part of the costs will be paid by which taxpayers are a matter of politics.
