Don’t hold your breath – Chavez the other moron.:) He blusters, rants and raves while his own people starve he can not feed his own poor and imports most of the food for his country from Colombia – look it up. The low grade tar fields he pumps can only be refined in the USA in a refinery he could not steal. It will be a grandstand gift of small proportions since his low quality crude from the Orinoco tar field is almost dry.

Quick rise-to-the-fly from a poor "sucker". Just as I figured ... Randers & neocons have you brainwashed. But there's hope! Self-help works. Read some history ... history of American UNIONS during the first-half of the 20-th Century. Steel, coal, textiles, oil, auto ... make your own list. You can find a library by yourself. Walk if you need to.
No picnic for those workingmen. Union men&women fought pitched battles ... blood on the street ... to reserve for themselves a favored standard-of-living. It was not granted, but beaten-out of the wealthy and powerfull at the cost of many lives. Then seized politically with the New Deal.
Remember now? You don't have the b*lls those early 20-th century men had to demand a major share of their own production. They didn't need Thucydides to tell them only the threat of violence can confront wealth and privilige. Didn't need Marxian BS either. Perhaps those demands will be raised again ... by better men than you.
Union 40 years and counting -- I could not have said it better.

NAFTA – Union jobs with benefits and a salary that used to support a family going to other countries. Colombia is on the Republican agenda and I am doing my part to undermine the effort since my brother-in-law is the lobbyist in Wash D.C. from Colombia.

He visited the pope last year and I almost got him excommunicated with my list of questions.

A lot of kidnapping in Colombia too if you as an American wish to chase butterflies in the jungle or go out at 3 am alone in the cities. Then again a lot of crime in LA as well if you wish to chase drugs in the jungle and out alone at 3 am.

Very little difference.
