So why would the U.S. attack in the first place if it would send prices through the roof? Chavez just continues to shove his foot deeper in his mouth!

Couple decades ago, a group cornered the silver market. Perfectly legal cherished goal of speculators. The White House confiscated profit retroactively, a draconian move I deplored. Perhaps cheney's masters oppose similar action at present.
