When I look at the paintings of great men like Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Lincoln, Teddy/Franklin Roosevelt, Truman, Kennedy, etc. Or look at the majestic beauty of this country, or even look at Norman Rockwell’s painting or listen to Aaron Copeland’s music, for some reason the bush family doesn’t seem to fit into this beautiful tapestry. Oh well…. Still, it’s always comforting to know that this too shall pass although its disheartening that more innocent people have to die while we're waiting. Adios..

The last time I checked "Communist" was a form of government that failed each time it was tried and "Sponsors of Terrorism" were countries like Afghanistan which sponsored the terrorist that brought down our towers.
Yea you are right we did not want them to ram planes into buildings. How silly of me to think that countries (like Venezuela) that espouse hatred and openly call for the downfall of this great country should not be called our friends but in fact called what they are!
Do you really belive that?

He's not a dictator, in fact The Venezuelan people had more choice in their last election than you lot with your corporate whore candidates......Isn't Kerry, like Bush a member of a secret society called skull and bones?
Venezuela on the other hand had 11 different candidates and a 73% voter turn out.
It's a democracy with just as much credibility as yours....we can look into yours if you want.

A great industrial nation is controlled by its system of credit.
Our system of credit is concentrated. The growth of the nation,
therefore, and all our activities are in the hands of a few men.
We have come to be one of the worst ruled, one of the most completely
controlled and dominated governments in the civilized world.
No longer a government by free opinion, no longer a government by
conviction and the vote of the majority, but a government by
the opinion and duress of a small group of dominant men."

Every single person on hear referring to Chavez as a dictator knows absolutely nothing about world events.

Chavez doesn't have that kind of power in Venezuela. In fact in the last referendum that he supported the people voted it down, because they didn't want him to have too much power and didn't want to abolish term limits.

If anything our government's confrontational attitude towards Venezuela is to blame for increasing anti-American sentiment there. Instead of chastizing Venezuela we should be praising them, since it is still a democracy. Let's show the world that our commitment to democracy is real and not code for commitment to democracies that choose to adopt policies sympathetic to American business interests.

Chavez uses anti-American sentiment to rally supporters. If America wasn't getting confrontational with Venezuela that wouldn't work, and Chavez might actually lose popularity.

"There's a reason Bush almost never appears before members of the general public:
They really don't like him. Bush was greeted with loud boos when he came to deliver
the traditional first pitch. It was a rare moment for Bush, who avoids public expressions
of disagreement by appearing almost exclusively before carefully selected audiences."

A Soldier’s View of the Iraq War March 5, 2004

I am a cavalry scout in the United States Army. I am stationed at Fort Bliss, Texas. We returned home Tuesday and I would like to comment on this war from a specialized soldier’s eyes. I honestly think the president lied to all of us. After seeing first hand what was in most parts of Iraq, my whole company could not fathom a threat of any means. I love America, and will defend her when called upon, but in this case there was not a real threat. By the way, the THANKSGIVING PHOTO-OP at the airport was only open to pro-Bush soldiers. We were screened unknowingly about four days before he showed up in secret. We didn’t know he was coming, but looking back, all the questions we were asked were designed to weed out the antiwar soldiers..

Notice the similarities…

Happy Passover????

Jesus Crusty...you still think that Bush wanted to invade Iraq because of his compassion for the Iraqi people?
Nothing "strategic" about Afghanistan?......nothing "oily" about Iraq?
Venezuela is about that nasty Mr Chavez calling Mr B nasty names?
Nothing to do with nationalized oil fields?
Well then why all the dicking around then? could easily flatten the whole place.
