you can blame that on the government mandated low flush volume toilets... flush twice and bring the lake level back to its glory days....

The trend is the same for next 10 - 40 years! Lake to drop another 12-18 inches.
Soon should be able to walk to Canada!

line the lake bottom with 12-24 inches of sewage and garbage... that will raise the water elevation..... or decrease the flow through the Detroit river and Niagara Falls to what it was 50 years ago. the cause of the drop is manmade you know... and not global warming like the queers lead us to believe

Lake levels are cyclical in relationship to rain & snow volumes ...I can remember in the 1960`s water levels were extremely low "far lower then now projected" & many people who had boat houses had to shovel out a path to float their boats or not use the boat houses.Navigation was compromised in shallow areas & channels.
Then in the late 70s water levels were so high , cliff & beach erosion was a huge problem & high water on the peninsula was flooding roads with the Coast Guard station under threat.
What this means is the rise & fall of Lake levels is something you just cannot control only accept it as normal & deal with it as needed.
