if they got rid of the way overpaid waitresses on the planes and replaced them with one security guard, we never would have had to give up our pocket knives and nailclippers... i can buy a coke and bring it one the plane with me...

You can't take shampoo on an airplane and this moron wants to give you knives. Congress said no. So if a terrorist takes the plane down with a pocket knife can the families of the dead passengers sue this idiot for everything he ever owns? Where does the government get these stupid people?

Because the threat from liquid explosives far outweighs the threat from knives.

again, if we had secvurity on the planes instead of waitresses, there would be no threat from a little pocket knife at all...

Americans confined in a tube high above the earth with no escape route need some sort of equalizer and I'm 100% behind the measure. It is clear "Gun Free Zone" "Weapon Free Zone" crap are proven disasters.
Obviously some clowns are stuck on a mindset that if people have weapons they turn into murderous maniacs…A small amount of the populace are indeed violent and that’s why the good guys have weapons to defend themselves and have jails and prisons and execution chambers to deal with those who harm others. That’s common sense. However many him and haw when it comes to self-defense and throw tantrums at the thought of an armed citizen. They come up with all sorts of alternatives like suggesting women urinate on an attacker, etc.
Perhaps those who oppose an armed citizen have it up their sleeve that it’s overall more beneficial for some people to have a deceased victim and a healthy criminal to haul around to courts for years, house for years and create unending revenue for law firms, etc. So if you take out their client you’re taking away their bread and butter…That’s also why if you have to defend yourself be dead sure both your feet are well within the bounds of the law otherwise you’ll become their bread and butter.

The planes on 9-11 were not brought down with explosives. They need to do what the Irealis do, and profile those terrorist bastards. They have never lost one plane. The TSA is a make work project for people who could never hold a real job.

The government has already taken over airports. Basically, the same thing that destroyed the Twin Towers and the part of the Pentagon is now allowed. Executive Order 11003 ( millennium-ark.net/news )2004. Federal seizure of airports and aircraft. It is how it is sold to the public. We are used to it. Used to the mistreatment of our personal civil rights. No matter if it is man, woman or child.

This Administration is the most inept, corrupt, anti-American bunch of professional politicians we have ever allowed in our government. They are totally useless. We need to hold the Democrats, and their low info followers responsible for all their mistakes.

In Sept of 2001, 4 commercial airliners were hijacked by thugs armed with nothing but box-cutters, resulting in the deaths of over 3000 American citizens.
Now the head of the TSA wants to allow people to carry
Box-cutters
On commercial airliners again.
Am I missing something here?

Why not, they now have their billion dollar budgets and have hired many low information voters to fill the spots that that are unqualified for anything but government programs. This is just like the Department of education, billions spent results zero. TSA has never prevented a hijacking, but they have embarrassed many blue haired old ladies.

yes, quite a bit....

the cockpits are secure now. the crew and passengers will not sit by while they are threatened with knives any more. won't happen again.

perhaps you should look into the situation before making an uninformed statement.

Ignoring the fact that republicans and their "no information" followers created, passed and signed into law, the "Patriot" Act, of which the TSA was created.

THE most anti- American law ever passed since the Federal Reserve Act of 1913.
