If they were to go in on Gadhafi's side, it would help, but supporting a false democracy routine inevitably falling into the hands of radical Muslims (who Gadhafi has opposed) would be much worse for world trade. Clinton again validating NATO's existence for another gain for Islam is a troubling reality in the current developments.
Well then why is the media supporting the radicals who want to overthrow Gadhaffi?

The UN is as worthless as is Obama. I agree we shouldn't be in Libya. We have no business or interest in going into Libya. Obama is going to get us in another war, lose in afghanistan, and pull out to early in Iraq. The trifecta of incompetence!

To the question of whether America would use forces on it's own. Think back a few decades to Kent State.
I hear a bunch of trash talking propaganda from both sides and both sides views go so far to the extreme that they lose all accuracy.
If you want to make a point, say what is true rather than inflamatory.
Libya is on the verge of a civil war. Gadhfi will most likely achieve the martyrdom he says he seeks. The people who take over will most likely be very extremist (who knows in what way, anyone can guess here)and oil will most likely be interupted momenatarily. The oil will flow again before long and they may sell to someone else, but the worldwide oil market will even out.
Our leaders (both sides) say a bunch of stuff and most of it is empty words in order to give the appearance of doing something.
Try looking at the actions rather than following the words and you'll see that the only thing either party is doing is playing us off each other so that we won't be mad at them for their poor performance.

Generally, American media is supportive of Obama and the Liberal Left's take on matters. Their take is deficient, but in a position of power. In fact, a close examination of the rebellions in particular countries in the Middle East will find them driven by the Western Leftist media, especially such as NPR and its BBC affiliate. Examine pictures of the Libyan uprising to again find an unusual representation of American English signage, which is there ONLY to influence the Western media and its viewers.

The international Left has always depended upon mob actions to make its potential more threatening, or cemented. By falsely representing the mobs in Libya, Egypt, etc. as forerunners of "democracy", they can even affect the perceptions of Americans as to fear of unions in the streets and potential uprisings. Leftist media manipulation and coverage of their manipulation is multi-faceted; some is psychological, some logistic and some for direct consolidation of anarchies beneficial to their own self-validations.

The former Clinton administration's manipulation of the media contained similar extreme lies and reversals of all documented information prior to their actions culminating in rewarding radical Islamist terrorists. The current Obama manipulations are abandoning ONLY those relationships that have been strongly supportive of US anti-terror efforts, neutral to Israel and abandonment of stockpiles of WMD. That appears very obvious, yet people don't want to believe that American Leftists and Obama especially would be perfidiously so anti-American as to foment changes that would further diminish our status in the world.

Great job, Ken! Keep after them "Libs."
Oh, and if you were by chance one of the many millions I screwed out of their pension and savings.......sorry!
These pensions you speak of were unfundable to begin with but had to be put in place by the strong arm tactics of unions. You really expect to get something like a huge pension check for free? Unions = mass, unsustainable greed with no concept of economics.

Gaddafi, Mubarak, Ben Ali and the most of the Arab leaders are either puppets to - or allies with the US/Europe/Eastern powers (some reputation). Those 80% of them have been ripping of their own countries wealth to their own personal pockets meanwhile cushioning the interest of the powers in the West and East...during which the majority of local populations suffering in pain from poverty, from freedom and transparent democracy...there is no middle class...it is either rich and above (minorities) or poor and extreme poor (majorities).
Those same Arab leaders in power are protected by foreign interest and supported to stay as long as they keep serving...while the Arab citizen generally is being oppressed, degraded, humiliated, accused of terrorism & hating the world and will destroy it one day soon once they are able, isolated & deprived from developing to level with the rest of the world, pushed & betrayed to ignite a sectarian wars of hate & blood & false threatening religious signals of hate to keep every one busy with issues that don't even exist (Christians, Muslims or Jewish Arabs had always managed to live side by side for the country and national interest).
Those Arab public should have the right to choose their own leaders and be free to manage the affaires of all local public interest in the best of ways.
The public now is aware what will it takes to change for the better, and aware of the price to pay to get it done fair and square...and this is just the beginning to the first step…they are also aware that foreign military intervention to stabilize the current situation will not be genuine what so ever…it will only be to ensure the flow of oil and kill the hopes for a constructive revolution.
Unfortunately most western media is fabricated to direct majority the incorrectly to stay off-course, to isolate and create fears to engulf the Western citizen for generations to come…but I believe that such media will be trimmed down with time…the world is becoming smaller…thanks to internet/i.e. the power of Face Book and twitter...the world is better connected for the truth…for the full picture.
It will be a catastrophe if foreign powers disturb the momentum of the changes...Also there is plenty of oil/natural energy on the other side of the world.
Think and remember for every action there is an opposite and equal reaction.

<quoted text> Hey, all of those fanatical Middle Eastern morons are insane, what else is new? The important thing is that Obama must now send in our military to seize those oil wells! If Gadhaffi blows them up, or Libya gets taken over by extremist religious mental cases, we will be paying a fortune for oil and gasoline here in the US!!!
You are out of your mind! We have wasted billions of taxpayer's dollars and thousands of American lives fighting in these Arab countries, and for what?? Those people do not want us there, and they sure do not want us taking their oil! It is THEIR countries, let them solve their own problems!!!
