Republicans say cut spending and government get out of the way until they need help then they hold their hands taking government money and borrowing is ok if they need it.
Here is a perfect example of Rethuglicans cutting spending -

Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-Utah) acknowledged on Wednesday that House Republicans had consciously voted to reduce the funds allocated to the State Department for embassy security since winning the majority in 2010.

For the past two years, House Republicans have continued to deprioritize the security forces protecting State Department personnel around the world. In fiscal year 2011, lawmakers shaved $128 million off of the administration's request for embassy security funding. House Republicans drained off even more funds in fiscal year 2012 -- cutting back on the department's request by $331 million.

House Republicans passed budgets reducing the level of spending growth (the Ryan budgets), but the Senate refused to vote on them or on any other budget. Hence, stalemate has resulted, with the government continuing to spend at a high level through a series of continuing resolutions.

The Republicans lost because they refuse to see the handwriting on the wall on this issue among others.
We say, keep refusing to listen to the vast majority of American citizens, and you'll lose more and more every 2 years!!! Before you know it you'll have gone the way of the Whigs!! And that WON'T be a bad thing, after all. Hurry up and go!
Thats right, hurry up, run out of money, turn America into a poor welfare Country. I cant wait....

Kiss my grits.

Even when the Democrats had control of both houses of Congress, they couldn't pass a toilet tissue referendum to wipe their own asses.

The Senate voted 99-0 AGAINST Obama's budget proposal.

Looks to me like the victors ARE the spoilers.
