Yeah, right.
DU should worry more about their rotten horrible socialist/homosexual/Democrat president trying to transform America than Rep Michele Bachmann, who will win again.
Michele Bachmann is Minnesota values through and through and we stand behind her 100%.

Democrat underground.

This is a thread about US Rep. Michele Bachmann of the 6th Congressional District of Minnesota.
We're sending her back to the House for 2 more years.

When you think about it, it almost seems as if that the Democrats wouldn't mind if Bachmann got re-elected. They seem to have the perfect candidate to do it with, the party could have spent the money to take the b*ch out if they really wanted to. Maybe they're hoping that there's just enough voters in her district that have come to their senses on their own accord, but if they lose, they still have Bachmann. That alone will be worth at least a half dozen or so opportunities to point and laugh at the nuttery over the next couple of years.

If you understood MN, you would know that Bachmann has the most right wing district in the state. getting any serious candidate to risk their career by losing in this district is not easy to do.

we had two very good opponents a few years back a democrat and an independent. they split the 60% of the vote that didn't want Bachmann and she got re-elected in our most right wing district with only 40% of the vote...

Florida is the same but we have what I call "under 50 Dem disease" which is close to 80% of Democrats under the age of 50 ignore state elections and due to that every state election corrupt, insane, bible thumpers get elected.

While the voting line I waited on a few days ago was a 3 hour wait ,elated to see such a great turnout .

this is just one district in MN. for the most part our conservative representatives are just that...conservative.

Bachmann left conservatism so far behind, if it exploded she wouldn't see the light for three days...

Honestly, I've seen few more clever ideas on the board. Thank you for this post.

Even a few years ago, I *NEVER* thought it would come to this; but these (antigay) people will not be quiet and will not stand down, and they need to be fought so unbudgingly that, to some, it must feel hopeless. I draw great strength from knowing that between now and the nanosecond of my death, I will never have budged or listened to a word of their ideas, never. And in doing so, I am doing my duty for all morality for all time, and refusing to go the way of filth and evil. N-o-t-h-i-n-g can change this sentiment within me.

The enormous problem in all of this is that the antigay have turned out -- surprise -- to be more tireless than the pro-gay, or at least *as* tireless. They really are not going to give up. They will have to be fought by every means imaginable for a long, long time, I think. To my way of thinking, the pro-gay should joyously *welcome* this as an opportunity to vent for YEARS, if not DECADES, to come. What an opportunity!

Do you get that that is how topix works, and its point? Articles are deliberately cross-posted in order to stir up debate. Topix has shown something far more interesting: that among those in vociferous opposition, debate is clinically impossible.

In nearly 100% of the threads that I enter, it is virtually impossible to address the subject of the thread, or the article. Every thread contains vicious spam that has *exponentially less* to do with the article than it has to do with antigay neuroses, hatred, and psychic violence.

Over a year ago, topix asked about various features it wanted to implement, and I submitted to the poll the strenuous opinion that allowing an "ignore" feature would destroy the very spirit of this web site. I now *welcome* such a feature; it is that bad. If absolutely *zero* can be done legally about this constant verbal rape, I won't even *blink* to begin blocking certain posters so that I will literally never again have to deal with their satanic vomit, and can actually address *THE TOPIC* of each respective thread.

In other words, and in short, I am 100% tireless in finding some solution to a problem and, like I have preached to others, I will go to *ANY* length to solve a problem -- even by completely reversing my opinion on a topix feature I rejected last year. I really will stop at absolutely nothing whatsoever, nothing -- to find solutions. And I will never, never change in that regard. People create problems; by thinking outside the box and doing *whatever* you must, you can find the most glorious solutions.

Sweetie, the funny boy editor just doesn't have that amazing gay power in his arsenal. Cross-postings are courtesy of the site and the site alone as determined by the competency of their "Roboblogger". Thanks Topix. It be a cool power to have, but since I don't have the ability to do anything about it, I don't ever pay attention to them unless someone brings up an issue. I do have to say, this article evidently hit all the right buzzwords to land on some pretty interesting forums
