Jun 6, 2014 | Posted by: roboblogger | Full story: WLS-AM Chicago

Interesting. I note that younger and non religious and educated are more tolerant. It's a waiting game today. All we have to do is wait out the crabby old geezers who were all high school drop outs and rely on the preacher man for any "reeligus traynen" and who'll soon be in their muddy graves and the whole gay marriage thing will be moot.

I'm sure glad you added all those "and" qualifiers to the "crabby old geezers" label. Some who know me, or rather think they know me, accuse me of being a crabby old geezer. I'd hate to have to die to make Marriage Equality true in all of the U.S.

Their "ideology and age" huh?

Let's not forget about their communist training in the public screwls.

And I going to be around for a long, long time yet so the "age" theory is complete BULLSHIT!

You're displaying your basic ignorance again.

You and your claim about yourself and your longevity do not comprise the aggregate.

We are discussing something called "statistics." You are an anecdotal instance.

Tee baggrz and fundies always have trouble with this concept.

Meanwhile, the overwhelming bulk of remaining homophobes are concentrated in older demographics,(and less educated and more uber "religious" ones.)

You meant education results in less bigoted people. And fewer bigoted people.

Disgusting homophobes are outliers now. Even Kirk Cameron is vying with Chick fil A to tap dance away from past anti gay views as fast as possible.

Where did you get the idea that you know what I meant?
I meant precisely what I said. Nothing about education, at all.
Of course, education often times means indoctrination to many folk.
You didn't mean that, I suppose. And neither did I.

You said exactly nothing.

The simple _fact_ is that the more educated a person is the more likely they are to support lgbt rights.

And of course mouthbreather fundies and tee baggrz think higher educaation amounts to indoctrination, because we can't have people knowing the earth is billions of years old and that the buybull is internally contradictory, can we?

Well, then.
If you truly believe I said exactly nothing, how come your so upset?

Because I think mouthbreathing bigots who are too uneducated to express themselves or their precise, bigoted notions should be mocked. They're not just offensive because they're opposed to equal rights, they're offensive because they're so anti rational.

Hope that helps, trash.

Pumpkin, they covered you under the education statistics, showing that poorly educated people are less likely to support same sex marriage.

I'm sure we all hope that "you going to be around for a long, long time yet", but if so, please learn how to express yourself properly in the English language. Illiteracy is so unattractive, and none of us much wants to have to clothe and feed your uneducated rear end for the next fifty or sixty years.

I bet you learned all those "facts" at college, and now you go around just looking for excuses to use them.

You stupid ...
You know nothing about the fall of Rome and it's history other than what you've beed spoon fed by the Big Book of Bigotry.

Additionally, whites in the USA are the largest recipient of welfare by far.

And you have the gall to call another poster stupid? Really?

Hey uneducated filth, don't pretend you pay attention to data. You and your fellow homophobes largely think the earth is under 10000 years old, after all.

>The poll also showed that the measure [anti lgbt Prop 8] got strong backing from voters who did not attend college (69 percent), voters who earned less than $40,000 a year (63 percent) and Latinos (61 percent).

There's plenty more polling on the subject - homophobes are older, less well educated, more uber "religious" than pro equality folks.

But you don't do data. You dismiss factual information. Trash.

First off, who's "they".
Secondly, those "facts" are complete ___. Anybody with any brains at all can see that gay marriage will be the death of our society, so why don't you have somebody explain to your gorgeous, succulent man-globes about the Roman empire and their downfall.
And don't worry about "clothing and feeding" me since we have all the worthless people in my family suckling at the government teat, besides according to scholars like you I'll just use my "white priviledge".
Oh my, my, Poodle, you really are an imbecile. Let me see if I can help you out.

For starters, your first question should have been, "Who are 'they'?", not "Who is 'they'?" Now let's see if you can figure this out for yourself using a multiple choice option. Remember, we're discussing the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll, so "they" are:

a. pod people from the planet XC-378
b. the voices inside your head
c. the people who conducted and analyzed the latest ABC News/Washington Post poll

Now, Boo-boo, scholars can't agree what actually caused the Fall of the Roman Empire, but here are the 8 most-named factors:

1. Invasions by Barbarian tribes.
2. Economic troubles and over-reliance on slave labor.
3. The rise of the Eastern Empire
4. Over-expansion and military over-spending
5. Government corruption and political instability
6. The arrival of the Huns and the migration of the Barbarian tribes
7. The spread of Christianity and the loss of traditional Roman religious values
8. Weakening of the Roman legions

"Anybody with any brains at all", as you so wittily put it, can see that same sex marriage didn't make the list. In fact, Poodle, same sex unions were permitted during the years that Rome flourished. It was only after Christianity spread, and same sex unions became prohibited, that the empire began to crumble.

I'll now pause for a moment so that you can change your soiled underwear.

Okay, better now? I'm not worrying about you "suckling at the government teat", Precious. You'd have to be smart enough to fill out forms and to be able to sign your own name to apply for welfare benefits. No, I'm more concerned with having to support you while you're languishing in prison. Of course that might not be such a bad thing. You'd at least have years of quiet time in to earn your GED.

Enjoy your weekend, Honey-buns.

Oh,honey, I'm allowed to be ageist since I am so up there myself. My spring chicken days are LONG behind me.

I meant that some people are older than others, no matter what their literal years may be. I know folks less than half my age who are "older" than me.

And you got all that from "Imagine that. Ideology influences opinions."

Clearly, you value education, but your posts are evidence that you have only a fleeting association with the actual practice of education. That really isn't surprising since you know it all and clearly have decided you have no need for education.

You call others bigots with no cause whatsoever. Yet you are the bigot, intolerant of others' views and prone to name-calling to hide your own ignorance.
