If they are allowed to fight and die for this country, then YES....they should be able to drink a beer.

Yes, you would, you lying sack of cr@p.

Ninety percent of Americans understand this.

Require background checks- and make it a felony to sell a firearm to someone who can't purchase a firearm.

Neither law would impact you at all, eh?

I have had the .22 my father bought me when I was 7. It was my responsibility to maintain, but legally it was his.
Nothing about the age limits have been repealed, doubtful they will anytime soon. I believe that 18 should be law to own handgun, after all you can deploy overseas and die, but you can't own a handgun. Makes no sense.
Good point.
I vividly recall the fight to get the legal age lowered to 18 since 18 year old citizens were being shipped out to die in Nam at that age.

<quoted text>In that case the law should be 17, the minimum age for service in the military and also the minimum age for militia service. Seems logical to me.
Another good point.

The speed limit on the freeway here is 70 MPH. There will always be people disregard it.
Why have any laws at all, dooshbag?
Ninety percent of Americans want required background checks.
Nine percent of Americans are felons.
Felons don't want background checks...
75 MPH elsewhere.

Correction #1 - 90% is incorrect. You lump all the "positive" responses into one and imply what is not factual.

Correction #2 - Nine percent of Americans are CONVICTED felons. There are many more felons out there. If that were not true, there would be no such thing as a "most wanted" list.

Oh my, you made ONE true statement. "Felons don't want background checks..."
Addendum #1 - Felons AVOID background checks, and so do criminals that are not felons.

If we send them into the teeth of war as adults at 18, to defend our rights and freedoms, then YES by God, they should be also be granted any and all other "benefits" of adulthood. They've earned it.
They are not 18 year old "children" as the Trayvonites proclaim.

Nineteen, actually. For the most part, as far as the draft was concerned.

Na na na na nineteen, nineteen, nineteen.
Na na na na nineteen, nineteen, nineteen.

And usually black, since whites had fewer problems getting into college or had political connections to get them into the National guard.

Adam Lanza NEVER shot anyone for the first twenty years of his life.

If you never sell a firearm, then ANY restriction on selling firearms has NO restriction on you, SpoogeSponge.

Ninety percent of Americans understand why there should be background checks on all sales because of dumbazzes like yourself who'd sell them to any Tom DICK or Harry that staggers into their garage sale.

I am correct.
Home Security? Seems to me that the point was that DHS is buying it Mr. Foot.

Incorrect.
The age was 18, the argument was for adulthood status at 18. The drinking age was lowered to 18, just like I said.
I was there Mr. Foot. I know how old we were when our draft cards were issued and the lottery was held.

Show me the words in my post that says it is only 75 MPH elsewhere Mr. Foot. You said it was 70 MPH in your area. I simply said it is 75 MPH in mine.
