On the front of the bill did it say "monopoly"?

It's about impossible to find $1000 bills, let alone $10,000. I almost feel sorry for this lady to be that naive. Now if she were Goldman-Sachs or Chase she would have had no problem passing counterfeit paper.

She's a little early. It will be a few more years of trillion dollar deficits before inflation will make 10,000 dollar bills a common necessity. She is simply ahead of her time.

That had to be a big decision for the lady to go to the bank with that thing. Where did she get it? Once received, how would you spend it? How do I get one?

I actually saw one years ago while working in the main vault at the Huntington Bank Downtown. Yes it is Salmon P. Chase he was a US Senator, the 23rd Governor of Ohio, the US Treasury Secretary under Abraham Lincoln. And US Cheif Justice. The bill was taken out of circulation in 1969.

The $5,000 and $10,000 are rare, you could hold a Million in with hands. But the $100,000 used by the Federal Reserve is one of the rarest around.

I fear that someone took adavantage of this poor woman. A real counterfitter wouldn't be foolish enough to try and pass off a rare bill like that. Of course, if she truly has mental issues then maybe she is that "foolish".

Don't people know to take stuff like that to the pawnshop like they do on tv? Rick probably would have given her $8000 for it.

They may be rare now,but with Obama's fix every disaster theory of "just print more money" to fix everything, soon we'll probably be swimming in them! That one was probably the first.Seriously, that's all Obozo can say when something happens is,"we'll just print more money".
