Shouldn't the CPD advice go at the end of the article, not the forth paragraph? When did a paragraph become one to two sentences? I was taught to not start a sentence with the word and. Did something change?

No. And can be used at the start of a sentence. You failed to learn correct sentence structure. And forth does not equal fourth.

I'd like to note that this is an interesting and helpful article.

I hope I don't get kicked off of this Forum for writing a post that isn't hostile or off topic.

Michelle, ITOLDYOU is correct. But it's a usage that can be easily overdone.

Anyone who's been in retail long enough knows a fake bill by just touching it. Our money is made with cotton fibers and feels like some sort of fabric rather then paper.

These bills passed a bank, and the article stated that the forger was exceptionally good. I agree, though, that being able to pass the "feel test" would require exceptional skill, not to mention access to the right paper stock.

Some interesting stuff in Wikipedia here:

under "anti-counterfeiting measures."

I corrected what I wrote concerning forth, which I was referring to the fourth paragraph. Not sure that I failed, I was doing homework at the same time. I did make A's in English, geez.
