Why should it cater to Homosexuals (10% of population), Blacks (12.6% of population), or Non-Christians (22% of population)?
My point has been, the government and school systems need to stay out of it all together.
To answer your question, that ads up to 44.6% of the population. That is a LOT of people, about 150 million. Should they be ignored or trivialized and the place set up for the remainder?

Just to let you know, Lilith, REAL Christians don't act like the ones who claim to be one on the boards. Both my wife and I are gay Christians.
"Both my wife and I are gay Christians."

Lol you are not .What you call yourself and what you are are not the same.

<quoted text>Sadly, yes. They trot her out like every month or so to show she is still alive, but not much else. She was crowing about how she would NOT attend the Republican convention, which reminds me of the unpopular girl in school saying she will NOT attend the cool girl's party because she, the unpopular girl, has to wash her hair that night.
She is not speaking at the GOP convention which is a true shame but putting that aside , she is well respected and since you forget , VP candidate .

Sarah will soon play a large role in rallying the "on the fence" voters and getting that vote out.

Lmao, come on now Curteese, I know you are smarter than that. You should give me more credit as well.
Your statement assumes that none of the homosexuals are black and or non-Christians, none of the blacks are homosexual and or non-Christian, and none of the non-Christians are homosexual and or black.

Yeah, right. She's SO "well respected" that they didn't even invite her to speak. Instead they asked Gov. Fat Bastard. Sarah Palin is a liability because no one knows what NONSENSE will come out of her mouth next.

The school system is not suppose to reflect Christianity.. If you want your children to go to church and learn about the Bible and get an education that is also based on religion enroll your child in a private school. Public schools are publicly funded by taxes so religion should not be taught there.
Actually religion is legitimate subject matter for any school.

<quoted text> What "anti-christian" messages?
Which part of the separation of church & State escapes you? Why should the government kowtow to YOUR particular flavor of religion? If what is taught in public schools is unacceptable to you, you have at least two options: send your kids to a different school, or, GOD FORBID, take another look at your need to control everything and everyone. The government does NOT exist to further your religious agenda. Sorry.
There is no "state sanctioned religion" in the USA. The frequently quoted "seperation of church and state" is misused more often than used in the correct context.

Yeah, great. You just go on saying that over and over to yourself.

Why are you so focused on last year's news? Try following some NEW dynamic Republican woman, one who is actually in office and is not quitting half way through for a better job in Hollywood. Try Jean Schmidt Ohio, Mary Fallin Oklahoma, Virginia Fox North Carolina, Kary Granger Texas, and my representative here in Palm Springs, Mary Bono Mack who keeps elected term after term despite the huge gay population here. I bet you haven't heard of one of them, despite them all being seasoned politicians and very serious about their jobs.

Why keep chasing a showboater and shameless self promoter like La Belle Palin? THOSE woman actually DO something about their country, instead of just complaining about what should be done like your gal does.

We are legally married in the State of California and any other place that recognizes Marriage Equality. Have mommy explain it to you in one-syllable words that even YOU can understand. I'm sorry that you obviously can't grasp it; it's really simple.

Why exactly are you replying to luv Sarah Palin on my post? Not to mention you simply copied and pasted your reply to her, onto my post. What is your point?

More violence came the group’s way later in the day when a beer bottle was hurled from a white, foreign-made sports car. It struck Michael Shibler, a beefy Evangelical photojournalist, in the head.“Some say that same-sex ‘marriage’ doesn’t harm or affect anybody,” Shibler stated with deep emotion after the incident,“Well, I think my throbbing forehead is a good example of how it does harm people.”

The liberal media didn't even actually report it till FOX did for several days and than they reported it once and as fast and distorted as possible.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aries

Someone is being very informative and helpful, especially if you want them to explain something that you don't understand, so listen carefully to what they tell you. This is also a great day for making some travel plans, perhaps by arranging to visit a friend you haven't seen in a while or by discussing where you should take your next holiday.
