Obama said that he was going to break the fever…

FEVER BROKEN!

LOL, you just have to love the way the tea-baggers are going crazy because the republicans conceded again to President Obama. Chalk up another one for Obama.

Lie of the Year:'If you like your health care plan, you can keep it'

Obama and the lie of the year.

Obama Gets PolitiFact's 'Lie Of The Year' Prize For Healthcare Claims

The Huffington Post | By Jack Mirkinson

Fact-checking website PolitiFact is out with the latest edition of its "Lie of the Year." In 2013, the dubious prize went to President Obama for his widely derided claim that, "If you like your health care plan, you can keep it."

Many people, of course, found that they could not keep their plans, as the higher standards set by Obamacare rendered them null and void. The administration and Congress quickly moved in with proposed fixes to the mushrooming political problem.

PolitiFact is often criticized for its fact-checking methodology, and some noted that it had rated previous statements by Obama along similar lines as "half true."

Ironically, all three runners-up slots in PolitiFact's roundup went to Republicans for their own statements on Obamacare.

If you've got a business, you didn't build that, somebody else made that happen.

This has to go down as the dumbest thing he has said (so far). This country was founded on mom and pops running little businesses, working 60-70 hours a week, paying themselves last, etc. For him to make such a dumb comment shows he has no clue.

lets hope Hillary is not such an empty pants suit.

Boehner didn't extend the unemployment for all those people not looking for a job.. Boehner just didn't want the Democrats to shut down the Government, and blame Republicans again. They will get their extension, but now they have to fight for it in front of the whole country, No secret little meetings. The more those who work see what the Democrats do for those who won't the better the country will be after the elections in 2014, and 2016.

Really? I mean really? You still are on that old out of context line that the republican party made their theme and still lost; even though their man Romney is on tape stating the exact same thing. If you missed that party, i have a really great daily show skit for you to watch...

Folks were watching the shenanigans by Cruz and his crazies to shutdown the government and folks rightly blamed the t-bagrepubes and Boehner knew that was a disaster for his party.

You have to give these crazies brownie points for learning an important lesson.

Rep. Tim Huelskamp (R-Kan.) told The Hill that the two-year budget deal set for a House vote later Thursday "will not necessarily" prevent another government shutdown.

This is the last bit of twitching by teahadists, before OUR Constitution is removed from their cold, dead hands.

There are 58 states with many corpsman in them.

I will have the unemployment at 5.5% if you pass the stimulus.

I bet it is the other 7 states the Democrats talk about that is making all of us look bad. It is their people holding the unemployment at over 7% for years. Yep. That's it. We should sell all the states over 50, and pay off Obama's trillion dollar deficit.

Did mom and pop stores build the infrastructure required for them to export and receive the products they sell or manufacture?

Their ideas, as well as mine running my own business, allowed me to expound on current technologies available I did not build - the internet, interstate highways, etc. This is what he meant, but you and your ilk take this statement totally out of context.

Where are these great job openings? I know a couple unemployed Collage grads looking for work. Another one just took a job as a porter for a car dealership. Not exactly the job he needs to pay off his collage loans. According to him thrtr won't be any jobs until Obumpskin is retired.

Ever ask what his / her major is in? That will tell you exactly why that young person's still looking for work.
Plenty of opportunity in engineering / medical fields.

“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through...all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself.

For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.”- Marcus Tullius Cicero

I am sure the College graduates I know didn't major in hamburger flipping, and dishwashing, and those are the only jobs being created by Obama. They are really for his illegal aliens, not our people.

Stop being an idiot and answer the question. If you can even stop being an idiot.

3.5 million high tech jobs remain unfilled to date - due to a lack of requisite skill sets.

And Obama does not create positions at McDonalds you idiot.

You should read the shit you post - if you had any sense of decency, you might be ashamed of yourself.

Those hi tech jobs must be well hidden. They aren't in our Chicago papers. I will look again Sunday, and see if you aren't lying for the cause.
