They should have a plate that says, "I <heart> Slavery".

What's next, a Pickaninny eating a watermelon license plate?

Or maybe a "Segregation now, segregation always" license plate?

Gotta love those wacky Confederates...

Wow, the stupidity from 2 above.

You have no idea what the confederacy was even about. You assign slavery to it. While there was slavery in the south and confederacy, that was not the reason behind the confederacy. And the civil war was not a war over slavery, but, to those in the south it was a fight against northern aggression and power grabs by Lincoln that encroached on Amendment 10 states rights.

Lincoln knew exactly what he was doing goading the South into an armed conflict. This is why he moved troops into South Carolina.

Get a clue.

The states right the south was so concerned about was the right for white people to own black people.
To anyone in the world but a southerner, it's appalling to be proud of that.

The Emancipation Proclamation allowed slavery to continue in the North, which it did. Then the northern carpetbaggers and tyrants imposed something much worse than slavery... invitations for the Blacks to come North, where enforced ghettos were set up and slave wages and company stores and generational poverty and inferior education, all for cheap labor for the rich Liberal Bankers and Industrialists of the North. That economic slavery of the Blacks and their ghettos still remain today because of the vicious cynicism and hidden racism of Democrats then and now.

Democrats inclined to this tyranny killed Lincoln, just as a Communist Democrat killed JFK. Democrats then and now are by and large freeloaders and thieves.

There are many northern states who still to this day flay the Union Jack flag over their capital building, despite the fact that represents a historic era when they were anti-federalist slave trading colonies.

It is erroneous to believe that so MANY Southerners GAVE THEIR LIVES to protect slavery when so MANY Southerns DID NOT OWN SLAVES.

"The causes of the secession were mainly UNJUST ECONOMIC POLICIES by the North and hence the South wanted to be independent. Therefore civil war was fought."

http://www.knowswhy.com/why-was-the-civil-war...

The Civil War was to 'protect the union' of the United States. The North invaded the South to prevent the South from leaving the Union.

Many Southerners refer to that war as the war of the "Northern Invasion".

(and the answer your question, no, slavery is NOT ok)

The flag that all you self-righteous, semi-literates hold so dear is also covered with blood. But, I guess it doesn't matter as long as the Native Americans don't start protesting. They seem to realize that it was centuries ago and should remain in the past rather than use it as a crutch. I guess they could "demand" that it not be flown, but I doubt you would go along with that.

From Plymouth Rock to c.1900
ALL of these cases, and hundreds like them were done with the Stars and Stripes flying along with the bullets.

"I saw the bodies of those lying there cut all to pieces, worse mutilated than any I ever saw before; the women cut all to pieces ... With knives; scalped; their brains knocked out; children two or three months old; all ages lying there, from sucking infants up to warriors ... By whom were they mutilated? By the United States troops ..."

- John S. Smith, Congressional Testimony of Mr. John S. Smith, 1865

"Fingers and ears were cut off the bodies for the jewelry they carried. The body of White Antelope, lying solitarily in the creek bed, was a prime target. Besides scalping him the soldiers cut off his nose, ears, and testicles-the last for a tobacco pouch ..."

- Stan Hoig

"Jis to think of that dog Chivington and his dirty hounds, up thar at Sand Creek. His men shot down squaws, and blew the brains out of little innocent children. You call sich soldiers Christians, do ye? And Indians savages? What der yer 'spose our Heavenly Father, who made both them and us, thinks of these things? I tell you what, I don't like a hostile red skin any more than you do. And when they are hostile, I've fought 'em, hard as any man. But I never yet drew a bead on a squaw or papoose, and I despise the man who would."

- Kit Carson
