Who in the B.O. Administration said, "Never let a good deed go unpunished?" Gov Walker did a good deed for the tax payers. I don't know why some folks don't understand it. Some of the Dems were belly-aching that there was no talk over the table before Gov Walker proposed the "Right to Work Bill". Well, how could there be? They needed the Dems (....you remember the ones who fled to IL so they wouldn't have to vote) to vote & pass the bill. ABO--Anybody but B.O. in Nov.
You don't have the intellectual resources to understand. Look at Walker getting grilled by congress where they nailed him with his lies about this. You're gonna be a Jurgis Rudkus also. Vote Rich, Live Poor! Stupid Teabaggers.

Walker got grilled by Congress? WHEN? Does he have gold plated teeth now? The unions got their arses kicked in WI, same think will eventually happen in a lot more midwestern states. Their glory days are OVER. They should still feel good though, at least they will still have a JOB.

The liberal corrupt democratic public unions got beat again because the BS they were spouting was exposed as being BS and the public isn't buying it anymore. The public has now seen that the huge public union machine was taking & taking the taxpayers for millions of dollars that was being funneled back to the corrupt officials that they we negotiations with. Other states have seen what huge savings the taxpayers can have by making the public unions pay a small portion of their own pensions and insurance, as the rest of us do.
The public unions screwed up their own recall by acting the way they did proving the point that they are just the greedy whiney thugs they showed themselves to be.

So the "stupid non-union housepainter" today took his crew of four guys on a Muskie Charter on Lake St. Clair today instead of painting. Cost me $500 with tip, not counting the lost production. We caught nine including three fish over 42" and 20lbs. Bought the guys a late lunch and a couple of beers afterwords, and they all will enjoy a three day weekend because they all worked very hard the last three weeks on a big job. If only I were as smart as the guy from Baraboo, WI. Then I could spend all of my time in front of a computer insulting others I disagree with on the Topix forum. Time to go now because my delivery from Alaska is here with my Crab, Salmon, Halibut, and Shrimp we will be grilling in a couple of hours, and its time to tap the keg. I love summer, and it comforts me even more knowing that my president is only four months away from being fired.

Back to the Topic:
Union fight in Madison a disgrace!

Yes it was, but it exposed to the public exaclty what was going on in the public sector unions and what it was costing the taxpayers. The whiney liberal democratic unions were once again rejected by the voters (taxpayers) of Wisconsin.
The unions are losing members by the thousands, dues are not being paid. Unions are being de-certified due to lack of members. When given the choice thousands of union members are not paying their dues. The unions tried to sell the public a boat load of BS and the public saw right through it.

Act 10 is working and the results are positive!

Sorry public sector unions ....you lose again.
Once the public saw your actions and realized how corrupt and greedy your unions were....they decided, with their votes, that you don't deserve our support or our tax dollars to support your pensions and medical benifits any longer.

Republican Politicians want to cut Social Security to reduce the federal deficit. But Social Security didn’t cause the deficit. In fact, Social Security has a $2.6 trillion surplus today. It shouldn’t be cut to reduce the deficit.
Social Security is based on a promise: If you pay into the system then you earn the right to guaranteed benefits. This is one promise to the American people that politicians in Washington shouldn’t break.
President Obama has said that he
Won’t cut benefits
Won’t raise the retirement age
Won’t cut the cost of living adjustment (COLA)
In effect, the President has said: Keep Social Security’s Promise!
We agree
Obama 2012.

Republican Presidential candidate Mitt Romney said exactly what right wing extremists want to hear.
Medicare. Romney intends to privatize Medicare and turn it into a voucher system like Paul Ryan wanted to do in his budget plan.
““Tomorrow’s seniors” will also have to wait much longer for Medicare since Romney also intends to raise the retirement age which is already 65 and 67 for people born after 1959.
Republicans are only interested in making people work until they die. Most Republicans want to raise the retirement age to 70. The average life expectancy for American men is 75 while for women the average is 80. This means way less time to enjoy the benefits of retirement that we work so hard for, not to mention the fact that a higher retirement age will also hurt the hiring of younger workers.---------

---------?

Seems to me the hard working tax payers born in 1960 were already screwed once, by a republican president who raised there retirement age.

--Now we have another Republican wanting to raise it on them again.?????//

Anyone under 55,
They already been paying in for 37 years or more.

Raiseing the retirement age is not only unecessary, it is wrong.

Actually Oblamer and the democrats are the ones that have undermined the funding source of social security by cutting the employees side of the withholding match by half. That reduction in tax burden was welcomed by workers but the reduced contributions to the fund will bring the insolvency of it on the American people even sooner. It was the democrats that also suspended the COLA increases to the recipients, not the republicans, so that would suggest that you are either trying to propagate lies and falsehoods, or like most democrats, you just don't have a clue what your talking about. The republicans have pulled off one of the most historic turnarounds in political history by regaining total power of Washington in just four short years. What's so historic about it is that it all happened without a single republican being responsible for inspiring the turn of the tide. Nope, there is one and only one man that could have made this accomplishment even remotely possible and that is Barack Oblamer. Obama is done and will lose by historic proportions. The majority of the country clearly recognize what a failure electing symbolism over substance has turned out to be and will correct that mistake in a few months, along with putting the senate back in the charge of the republicans. We agree. Thank you president Obama

Actually the politicians, including democrats, have already undermined the fund by awarding SSI payments from the fund to millions of people that never payed one dime into it, and have for a couple of decades at least. I know people personally that enjoy receiving the benefit that have never had a job or payed a dime, so that would make what you stated a lie. We also know that it was the democrats that suspended the COLA adjustments that seniors had previously received, so that would be another lie on your part. Why do you lie? The bigger question is why someone that pretends to be so smart allow an entire lifetime of production to get by him and only have the poverty that SS guarantees to live on in your old age? If you have really been working since your were fourteen, you should have your own money to live off of.

Link please. Name me one of those experts and the parameters of the study they conducted to determine that. My experts say he is the biggest liar we have ever had as president, not to mention economic failure right up there with Hoover. That leaves a mighty wide gap between your claim of truth and mine.

In the six months before I took office, we lost nearly 4 million jobs.

And we lost another 4 million before our policies were in full effect.

Those are the facts.

But so are these. In the last 22 months, businesses have created more than 3 million jobs.
Last year, they created the most jobs since 2005.

American manufacturers are hiring again, creating jobs for the first time since the late 1990s.

Together, we’ve agreed to cut the deficit by more than $2 trillion. And we’ve put in place new rules to hold Wall Street accountable, so a crisis like this never happens again.

The state of our union is getting stronger, and we’ve come too far to turn back now.

As long as I’m president, I will work with anyone in this chamber to build on this momentum. But I intend to fight obstruction with action, and I will oppose any effort to return to the very same policies that brought on this economic crisis in the first place.

I was at the Romney freakshow last monday at montery mills in janesville, the coward Romney wouldnt even take any questions from the audience. Obama will chew him up and spit him out in the debates.

Romney is bought and paid for by the billionaires club, his policys do nothing to futher the middleclass or secure jobs that are opertating inside our borders.
He has stated in the past that he will raise the retirement age to 70, give himself and others like him continued tax breaks, and revoke obamacare.

Daily Horoscope for May 25

Libra

You have a tremendous amount of nervous energy today and you need to find positive ways of expressing it, otherwise it could make you rather irritable and restless. Ideally, you should do something physical, such as going for a brisk walk, cleaning the house while working up a sweat or getting your money's worth out of the gym. Don't take out your frustrations on people who don't deserve them.
