. Boehner is a light weight with absolutely no power!

. Anybody with half a brain knows cry-baby boys are not allowed to negotiate with adults. John Boehner is nothing more than a simple clerk for Ted Cruz and the T-Baggrz in the House... Harry Reid or Obama should not waste their time trying to negotiate with a simple servant (Boehner).

Boner and his ilk have lost the battle!! Now they've painted themselves into a corner with no way to get out!!
FACTS:
1. Americans are enrolling in the Affordable Care Act in DROVES!! So much so, that the servers had some problems keeping up with the requests! Several million Americans have enrolled in the first day alone!
So now, the TBaggers and Boner are in a real pickle! Are they now going to deprive these families of a health care plan that they've just enrolled into??
2. ACA will SUCCEED because its costs are low, and it will pass the savings to the subscribers. Contrast this to the profit-driven insurers, who care nothing about the patients. Their priorities are the shareholders, and the fat cat executives. Just about every salary survey shows that the insurance executives such as claims managers average over 100K, PLUS BONUS!!! The ACA will surely be more streamlined, and cost less to manage.
This is one of the biggest fears of insurance companies, because it will force them to compete by lowering premiums for consumers.
3. TBaggers and Boner actually believe their anti-US Government propaganda that the bloated government is mostly wasting money by giving it away to undeserving illegal aliens and freeloaders. In truth, without the US Government, TBagger states would go hungry and bankrupt -- which is what's happening now.
TRUTH HURTS, DOESN'T IT T-BAGGERS AND MR BONER???

Maybe if you had a clue, you'd know how our government works. If you followed what was going on in recent weeks, you'd know Boehner had to be dragged, kicking and screaming, into this mess.

You'd also know that Obama and Reid have made it abundantly clear that they aren't negotiating with anyone about anything. A couple of real statesmen we have here...my way or the highway.

Unless it's unions, big businesses or highly paid congressional workers, with whom Obama changes all the rules as he goes...but of course, he doesn't go to congress with that either. He just does whatever the hell he wants.

Constitution? He don't need no stinkin' Constitution.

All hail the King.

But keep the partisan rhetoric coming,'cause that's all you got. The precedent that's being set with the Office of the President doing whatever the hell they want to do, using the Constitution as a doormat, might be working for some of you now, but there's no telling who or what might come from such abuse of power in the future.

I realize, of course, that this must seem like Greek to you. Best to just keep doing what you do.

Wow...

The insurance providers in the exchanges are the same companies insuring people now. Duh.

Follow the news rather than the sales pitch, and you'll find that younger people will actually be paying more, both in coverage and in higher out of pocket expenses (deductables).

Go to the exchanges and see for yourself, but make sure you read the fine print. A lot of these plans, especially the ones that the lower income brackets will be able to afford, are more like catastrophic coverage plans. Very high out of pocket costs and only 65% to 70% cost coverage.

So...the heart attack an in-law of mine had recently, which ended up costing about $82,000 after hospital stay and surgery, would end up costing him about $30,000 out of pocket with some of those plans. Good thing he hadn't been kicked off his current insurance plan-yet.

You might want to do a little actual research before you declare anything to be FACTS:

Those considering how a law no one read was passed by ONE Party and the American people responded to that undemocratic nonsense by shifting House control to the Republicans should consider closely their votes in the upcoming 2014 elections. If you support bipartisanship and law not imposing the will of a minority radical Soviet type element in one Party, then consider signing the petition to defund the erroneously labeled Affordable Care Act.

There is still an excellent probability the elitists that control the Repub party will still force RINOS/NEO CONS down our throats. Most of them knew the law was going to be passed by the Dem majority at that time. So they played it like they were real Repubs in their vote. It is time for conservativism To have a say again because it has been decades since that was evident. So in affect they will tell us again, either vote for the pseudo Repub candidate or put up with the progressive Dems.

And??

That doesn't alter the fact that the majority of Americans don't want the ACA ,and that's in all but one poll (NYT's). They just don't want the government shut down over it.

No news here.

Seems like lots of Americans are interested in the ACA.
Not everyone believes it will destroy America.
Some people do not watch Fox News or listen to Glenn Beck.
Seems to me like people will enroll in the plan.

6 years ago the Fox News morons and the radio wind age were all up in arms that too many Americans were not insured, which was reaponsible for the high cost of medical care and insurance.
But if a black liberal emocrat comes up with a plan, something the repubs wanted but would not do, it can only lead to the destruction of the American way of life.
Seems a little blown out of proportion.
I think this, and most of the other stuff Obama has done has been good for America. Republicans fighting him tooth and nail because he is black and liberal is dumb.

3 million Americans inquired about getting health care in the 1st 24 hrs of open enrollment.
The numbers will only go up as we head towards Jan 1.

A vast percentage of those 3 million Americans did not enroll. SHOCK! They were like: "Oh! You mean I have to pay for it? No thanks!"

Once people figure out that they can NOT enroll, get sick, then pay a $95 TAX to then get insured, they'll ask themselves: "why on earth would I pay hundreds of dollars a month?"

These millenials, too, aren't ALL stupid, just the progressive ones. They'll do the same.

Lastly, the same people who could not afford 'health care' yesterday, still cannot afford it today. Your little insurance plan is not 'health care'. So, when you get to the doctor about your sniffles, or butt rash, or whatever and--SHOCK--find out THAT'S NOT FREE EITHER, that you have to pay 100% of the bills until you meet your $1k -$5k deductible, then still have to pay 30%- 40% co-pay after that, this thing is toast.

Øbama-scare was never about 'health care'; it was always about big, centralized, big-government planning for every American on the most important thing ever--your health.

Say hello to your new master. Surely you must realize that what the government tells you that you can have also has the power to deny it to you.
