Obama said their would be no increase in taxes.

Guess he hasn't figured out that when the government TAKES MORE money from the people (through the recent FICA increase and now internet taxes) that it IS a TAX INCREASE.

Actually he does KNOW it. He's hoping no one else notices.

So your saying Obama will veto it and send it back to Congress?

He has not said whether he would or not. I do not believe he would but that doesnt mean this is all his fault. It could be fully supported by repubs, would that still mean its all Obama's since he has to sign it?

Cause its makes you sound like no matter the bill, good or bad, left or right, it's all Obama's.

You don't think he will?
This is a Democrat bill enthusiastically endorsed by Oblamer.
Just another liberal money grab.

Sorry, should have been "I do not think he will veto it. I beleive he will sign it and i believe this will have support from both dems and repubs in both the senate and the house.

they will pass it flying colors in the senate and will pass the house by being placed in a larger budget bill and then be sign by the pres. You can blame Obama all you want but it will take a lot more than just him and dems to pass this.

This bill should be called the foot in the door act.
It'll only be the beginning if enacted.

yeah yeah, bad taxes, fear monger, yadda yadda. In reality this is one of the easier taxes to get around after it is enacted. You simply have to proxy or vpn your internet traffic to a more tax friendly country and put the order in from there. Just like grandma in Switzerland ordering socks for little Jimmy here in the states.

Internet taxes like many things on the net are easy to circumvent

He can either sign it into law or VETO it.

So what you are saying is no matter what legislation the repubs push, its Obama's and he gets credit since he is the finally decider. Tax cuts? Goes to Obama. More Drilling? Goes to Obama. Less gun restrictions? Goes to Obama.

You were saying?

It's a shame Benghazi whistleblowers didn't have Obama thrown out before the taxes got piled on to us. He will be gone soon but it will be too late.

He's talking about this really ignorant comment you wrote. Anybody and everybody who can comprehend what they read, watch or hear knows that the following is absolutely not true.

"Obama said their would be no increase in taxes.

Guess he hasn't figured out that when the government TAKES MORE money from the people (through the recent FICA increase and now internet taxes) that it IS a TAX INCREASE.

It is amazing that anyone this stupid exists.

"I can make a firm pledge, no family making less than $250,000 a year will see any form of tax increase. Not your income tax, not your payroll tax, not your capital gains taxes, not any of your taxes". Barack Obama

Obama has a another chance to keep his promise. He signed the bill raising our payroll tax, now he wants to raise the sales tax we pay. Why would he do this to us? All he has to is veto it and then the House and Senate will need a 2/3rds vote. If they want they can have it and the President can at least try to keep his promise.

I guess your problem is you take him for his word. I judge his based on his actions. We can also look at it this way; sales taxes in those 45 states + DC already exist. There is just no regulation stating online retailers much collect it. You are already supposed to be paying it under current law but there is no teeth in that law so no one does.

But i am not here to defend Obama, Congress, or this tax. All i did was ask that if he signs it, then its his policies then right? Regardless of whom the originating party way? So any drilling bills, tax cuts, and gun regs since he has been in office are now his right?
