Rep. Martha Roby, R-Alabama, who authored the Working Families Flexibility Act, said the measure "provides options for working moms and dads who need more time to take care of family responsibilities" and "demonstrates how applying conservative principles can help working Americans in their everyday lives."

"The same protections that have been a part of labor law for decades remain, and we've added additional protections against coercion or unfair treatment," she continued. "This bill also doesn't add government regulation to the workplace - we have enough red tape as is."

As a member of the subcommittee for agriculture, energy, and forestry Martha is quite active in this area. Representative Roby believes that federal agencies need to be "reigned in".

She has introduced legislation accordingly. She believes that Conservation Reserve Program (CRP) should be limited. Roby believes CRP is causing a loss of farming production. She has also stated that CRP is no longer helping the environment.

She also has spoken out against many of the Environmental Protection Agency actions, specifically the MACT ruling.

Roby is against government paid-for or sponsored healthcare. She has repeatedly voted to repeal the health care bill also known as the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

She also voted for the Ryan Budget Bill, which would change medicare into a voucher system.

She just happens to be on the subcommittee on Health, Employment, Labor and Pensions.

Roby is a signer of Americans for Tax Reformís Taxpayer Protection Pledge.

In other words, she can't get much Dumber, then again the replies to my comment will contradict that statement.

Guaranteed.

I kinda like this notion, actually. Yes, there is a danger of abuse, but then all policies can be abused, that's why we have and pay for courts.

It means that big business can use workers as free labor.
