We need more economists....particularly those who want to reduce govt. If he wants to include religious conservative dogma into his plan then he will lose along with all those who want less govt.

Good to hear he is a professor but will the predictable folks jump on him for being an intellectual/ professor at a university (elitest?)? Hope not.

Brat's interview yesterday did not go well for him as he had a problem with finding relevant on-topic answers and needs to work on his “well-crafted” position before his future interviews.

He will succeed, because he has solutions to the problems the Democrats have ignored for 6 years. He will succeed because, he knows where his leadership qualities come from. He will succeed, because it is a over whelming Republican District, and the Democrats will just offer a sacrificial lamb.

You gotta be kidding.

Since when do Republicans get themselves elected to Congress
to get things done?

Getting nothing done is a Republican specialty..
Even if a Republican sits on his dead a$$ and does nothing for a whole
year he gets paid $174,000 just like everybody else. It's great setup
for these parasites. Sucking up taxpayer millions while doing absolutely
nothing. What a sweet deal for 278 Republicans.

Brat will lead the charge to nowhere.

Whereas all democrats do is increase the number of government dependents.

By the time Brat gets to Congress there will be a whole new group of legislators ready to follow the Speaker, and the Majority leader to get things done. They will have a veto proof Congress so Obama can just go play golf for the next several months.

Correct. Americans are meeting in homes, and schools, and saloons, anywhere they can get together to quietly discuss who they will vote out in November. They are not influenced by speeches full of fables, or million dollar T V ads. They meet, talk about who agrees with them, and decides who to support at the polls.

So our founding fathers were bigoted, mean-spirited, ignorant fools? Well, that's certainly a different take.
