Federal employees to rally on Capitol Hill against cuts

The nation's largest federal-employee union plans to rally on Capitol Hill Tuesday, with the group expecting more than 1,500 supporters to urge Congress to shield government programs and services from spending cuts.

the gubbmint employees and their union wants congress (other gubbmint employees) to keep their jobs secure and continued raises as these same gubbmint employees drive the economy and 20million unemployed into the ground.

Federal Employees...now there's a place that cuts can be made, and money saved. Govt employees are the most useless, underworked, overpaid illiterates on the payroll of any biz. it takes 3 of them to do the work of 1 real person....worker 1 is always off on vacation, annual leave, one of the 19 govt holidays, sick leave, optional Mon-Fri....worker 2 does the work, wrong, and worker 3 has to come along and fix it. Fire workers numbers 1 and 2, and tell worker 3 he has 2 weeks vacation a year,like real people, and save all the money wasted on #1 and 2.
And quit hiring to fill diversity quotas, hire somebody that can do the work....if a g ay, hispanic, female, minority in a wheelchair can do the job fine, but don't hire them because of their diversity.

Lets start by taking away the pay raises that Obama gave to all of his flunkies. That could save thousands. Lets pull Obama's credit card for flying all over on our tax dollars, and some one should tell him he is NOT CAMPAIGING ANYMORE.

California says it doesn't have anywhere near the doctors needed to be able to care for the expected inrush of obamacare medicaid patients

the federal gubbmint has added 15,000 new IRS jobs to make sure the deadbeats pay their obamacare fines.

Wouldn't the money for the 15,000 new federal desk jockeys been better spent sending 5,000 new medical students to medical school ?

For once I have to agree with the lunatic fringe "conservatives".

We have 800,000 DOD civilian employees- that's 1 civilian for every 2 active duty members.

Fire half of them and that saves the taxpayer over $25 BILLION every year.

That would STILL leave 1 civilian for every 4 active duty members.
