Looks like a good first step for the GOP on the right direction.Hope all those conservative hawks realize the necessity of immigration reform now!

Rubio?

Isn't he the Cuban-American who told the story
about his parents fleeing Cuba just before
Castro took over? Just in the nick of time?

Truth is that his parents left Cuba five years before Castro took over.

If Rubio can't get that story straight,
how can he be trusted to with the truth
in other matters?

He can't be.

you didn't read the story, nobody cares about illegal aliens, rubio is just a big of a fraud as obama,he thinks he will be president in 2016. Obama has laughed at the Hispanic community and I don't blame Him,hell I'm Hispanic and even I'm laughing at how you voted for Him twice

It's true, he hoodwinked them for a second time, and for their efforts, he gave some of them those hokey deferrals, a wink and a promise. He hasn't the wherewithal to really fix this mess that has been allowed to burgeon out of control sinnce 1986 due to the lack of real action by both sides. How about sealing the border and ending birthright citizenship as a start?

the only reform needed is a reform on failures who have never enforced our laws and even worst rewarded those who have broke the law.

all know in no way will helping illegal aliens help the country and her citizens. it will make all things worst.when an illegal alien can make a demand that shows how far the failures we have in office have against the country.

The ACLU nor Obam will allow Rubio's idea's to come to fruition. They are way to stringent and how many illegals living under our radar would qualify anyway. They don't want to assimilate, don't or won't learn English. Rubio's experience was very different from the South American invasion. His family were propelled to become Americanized as Cuba is so far behind the 8 ball, they could never improve their situation as long as the Castro regime was still in place. He's too idealistic about illegal immigration. Needs to research it a lot more then get his ideas in writing.

What can you say about a country where the president's own uncle has been living here illegally for 20 years and was recently convicted of drunk driving and the president gives him amnesty???

A 31 years old engineer legal immigrant came here to work, after two yrs he got his green card so as his wife, and after six years of been here, they both recieved their citizenship so as their son and daughter, one year later both of their aging parents recieved their green cards, and four years later both aging parents recieved their citizenship and start sucking out everything they could from uncle Sam,something they never paid a single dime into, not only that, but this legal immigrant had enough money and moved back home started a very successful business over there, and left their aging parents over here for UNCLE SAM to takecare of.

There will never be amnesty nor a path to citizenship for the illegals. They have violated too many laws, shown too much contempt for Americans and are basically broom-pushing, toilet-cleaning, berry-picking uneducated fools (and unable to be educated based on the scholastic performance of their anchor bastards). The so-called Hispanic vote is a joke. They are not voting to give wet bks citizenship, they are voting to keep getting their welfare and food stamps. Republicans don't need them.

That's a good slogan. "Exterminate a Rican, clean up the Bronx." Then the Whites will come back and finally begin to fully gentrify that crap hole.

No, you stick to the business of putting down hispanics, probably because you have some serious self esteem issues. It's obvious, for starters, that you're not educated. Being on TOPIX won't get you out of the ghetto. Start with your GED....
