Topix rules do not mandate English only. I suggest that you assimilate into American culture and learn a 2nd language.... preferably Spanish.

Spanish is a dead end language. Learn Chinese or Korean, they are on the cutting edge of technology, not Mexicans.

Spanish is the language of 405 million people in Latin America, the language of 50 million Americans in the USA and the language of 48 million Spaniards in Spain so I'll have to correct you with your ignorance on believing that it's only a Mexican language.

But heres some food for thought and a big reality check for you.....

I am ashamed that someone who works in the medical field would have the cold heart to want to take away the rights of a CHILD who was born in the U.S, what fault do they have ? They can't stop themselves from coming into this world, they also have the RIGHT to be a citizen because that's what written in the constitution, yes remember that piece of paper that tell us our rights, so uneducated, ignorant people like you won't try taking them away ?! It's sad that you would also want someones education to be taken away, sounds to me like your living in the wrong century! The day will come when you too will be a forced out of what you call home! I'd hate to ever be your patient, and I'm ashamed to know that we work in the same field. By the way, Happy Martin Luther King Jr, day!
And for your information, most people on food stamps and welfare. are Americans and blacks. Also racking up their credit cards buying stuff and living a life they can;t afford!
Oh my Gosh... my heart is bleeding from your sympathetic rhetoric. Bawl bawl bawl...... so sorry. They don't give a shit about those kids. They are nothing more $$$$$$ to them. Grow up. This is not news. Hundreds of U.S. electronics manufactures moved to Mexico in the'90s thanks to NAFTA and tax incentives from the U.S. In addition lower energy costs, lower taxes, government healthcare, lack of environmental laws, worker health and safety laws, employee rights laws, and the ability to skirt the few regulations and laws that do exist with a small bribe, along with the close proximity to the U.S. make manufacturing in Mexico very attractive to U.S. based companies. While we keep hearing that companies move manufacturing to Mexico for cheap labor which is a small part of the economic incentive most electronics manufacturing is not labor intensive. It is the taxes, lack of laws and regulation and cheap energy that make manufacturing in Mexico profitable.

It's funny how you don't put in the illegal Canadians and people from other countries.. It's not just down south is world wide..
well let me ask, how do you tell a Canadian form an American?
Answer; you can't same values, language etc. thats why we don't regard Canadians in the same light as Mexican with values and language that are not what we respect in this country.

Sorry to burst your bubble Liz but we live in times when America can't take care of the world problems. We need to amend the constitution to stop this birthright citizenship as well as stopping all the illegal immigration to this country. NO MORE AMNESTY, NO MORE ILLEGAL IMMIGRATION!!!!!!!

Rewarding them is not the answer. Our citizenship is far too precious to be given away so frivolously.
Those born in the USA are automatically citizens. What have they done to deserve this "precious" gift?

Who knows? Not you, apparently. Because of the tightest border control ever, illegal immigration is down drastically vs. the Bush years.

I see NO reason, to give out our valuable American citizeship, like it was the door prize, to anyone, let alone, to illegal alien criminals. My familly came here LEGALLY a hundred years ago, and they followed the rules. So can everyone else.
I strongly believe that we need to cut our immigration numbers for LEGAL immigration, as well. This country's popultion has exploded, and we are seeing the effects with droughts, water shortages, etc, and it will only get worse in the years to come.
REVERSE BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP, STOP ALL OF THE ENTITLEMENTS TO ILLEGALS, and they will stop coming and go back to where they came from. NO welfare, foodstamps, drivers licenses, no free K-12, public education, no free healthcare, except for medical emergencies and vaccinations,(no, a nine month pregnany is not a medical emergency). I rest my case.
We need to hold our elected officials feet to the fire until they start to uphold our laws, and support American citizens and legal residents.
Well said,I agree!

We need to address this because of the immense costs associated with these jackpot babies who become a burden on federal, state and local budgets....who gets stuck with the tab? Taxpayers, which are becoming a minority.
