In shift on immigration, GOP takes cues from California
As Republican leaders nationwide rethink their positions on immigration to bring Latino voters into the party, they might look to California, where years of hard-line immigration rhetoric put the GOP on the losing side of the state's fastest-growing group of voters.

Allowing every driver to get a DL,like before Schwarzenegger, would be a good start to start growing confidence in the community...

There are dozens of things the GOP "could" do...
Then there are the things they "choose" to do..

Well...They better do the things They need to do right now, like work in more inclusive immigration policies, now that it is the right consensus for it...before it is too late to try to gain back the voters They will loose if They continue with their obstructionists policies that will doom the GOP forever..

California is a mess and republicans know that. How much more nonsense can la rata come up with? Republicans can pass amnesty, personally had illegal aliens citizenship and they will still vote democrat.I would much rather die in a fight than to kill myself.

State Sen. John Vasconcellos, D-San Jose: "Since we stole it from them, why do you say it's unfair to steal it back from us?"
Yeh Ling-Ling: "I'm sorry?"
Vasconcellos: "We stole it from them in the first place."
Yeh Ling-Ling: "Exactly what do you want to have happen?"
Vasconcellos: "I found your testimony (shaking his head, putting his glasses down) I don't want to debate you."
Yeh Ling-Ling:(with a questioning look) "Exactly?"
Vasconcellos: "I don't want to debate you. I've listened to what you've had to say, period."
Since nobody in the chamber voiced any objection to Vasconcellos' remarks, the reasonable inference is, yes, the Left is moving even further left, and American legislators like Vasconcellos believe that since Mexico was stolen by the U.S., there really isn't anything to debate.
Vasconcellos: Shut up and sit down
Asian: What? Huh? I'm sorry? Excuse me?

That's quite the stupid statement by that senator, im glad he decided not to debate, since the southwest was purchased from the Mexican government, not stolen.another epic fail by an amnesty supporter, lmao
