Food stamps do equal slavery. They keep the majority of people receiving them comfortable with their inability to support themselves.
Drug tests, tobacco and alcohol restraint should be a requirement before any state or government aid is received. Period.

Why the vitriolic rehtoric the dems. But this is the year where fiction is being PUSHED like drugs as fact by much of the left.

Temporary emergency use of food stamps is not 'slavery' but perpetual use of them is because it is proof of a dependence on government. You are dependent on government much like a slave was dependent on their owner. Funny how a lefty can use a 'ball and chain' comment without penalty and yet using 'slavery' is?

All politicians have opinions and speak off the cuff. But WHAT IS Allen West's voting record that prooves he is pushing an anti women, anti gay, anti Islam, anti communist agenda. Where is it in West's voting record or introduced legislation.

West has no introduced legislation. Only frightwingnut rants. His next stop is Georgia, the teabaggers there want him. You can pack his carpet bag and go along with him.

Document uncovers details of a planned coup in the USA in 1933 by right-wing American businessmen / 23 July 2007 / http://tinyurl.com/2cc7af
The coup was aimed at toppling President Franklin D Roosevelt with the help of half-a-million war veterans. The plotters, who were alleged to involve some of the most famous families in America,(owners of Heinz, Birds Eye, Goodtea, Maxwell Hse & George BushÂ’s Grandfather, Prescott) believed that their country should adopt the policies of Hitler and Mussolini to beat the great depression.

Mike Thomson investigates why so little is known about this biggest ever peacetime threat to American democracy.
