In 2008, two of President Bush’s advisers were held in contempt of Congress for refusing to comply with an inquiry into the firing of several U.S. attorneys by citing executive privilege. But over a year later, a deal was reached with Congress and the issue dropped. Conservatives recently voted to put Holder in contempt of Congress for allegedly failing to turn over certain subpoenaed documents,but the Justice Department said that they could not be released because they still related to ongoing criminal investigations.

Anyways, its not like this is something we haven't seen before, and chances are it will never make it to the courts.
