"This opens up the possibility that Senate Democrats will avoiding passing a budget resolution for the fourth year in a row.
The last time the Senate passed a standalone budget resolution was in 2009."

Is there any wonder our annual budget deficits were over 1 trillion dollars for a record 4 years?

Well in total, since Pelosi and the Democratic Congress have been in power since 2006, the US has gone $5 trillion more in debt. You can answer the question yourself. How much of that $5 trillion is in your wallet or purse? Oh, the money did not go to you? Well it did go to someone, but not me. What did the US get for it? Unemployment is no better? Did we get at least a new national park? Do we all get cars?

The US debt was 8.6 trillion dollars when the democrats took over the legislative branch of out government in Jan 2007, it is currently almost 16.3 trillion dollars.
That's almost doubled in 6 years.
But like this election proved, the government is just not spending enough, everything will be solved if we just raise taxes, right.

Tax increases for all will need to take place followed the same day with cuts in entilements and military, otherwise tax increase will take effect and both party leaders will forget the cuts and then spend, spend ,spend the tax increase while forgeting massive spendind cuts. This is what I'm especially concerned about. If no agreement is made within the next 35 days automatic tax increaes plus huge spending cuts will kick in. It's exactly what the Doctor ordered.

there is no need for a budget now that obama is in office 4 more years?he can keep printing money for all the social benefit crowd so they can get these handouts and liberals could care less about debt!

The thinking of the government at this time is like wrecking your car so you can get a new one, problem is there's always a big chance you may not survive.
Come January we might just get a chance to see whether we will survive or not.

I hope we do. I cannot remember a time when things were more screwed up.
