I'd like to see Trump impeached by Christmas too but it won't happen. Even if the democrats had the power to do so Nancy Pelosi wouldn't do it.

What should happen is that any of the people that conspired with the Russians to help Trump should be tried for treason and those found guilty should be shot.

Are we at war, or have we declared war with Russia ? Yes or No ?

If you answered 'no', then Treason (as per the Constitution) is off the table- & you were too dumb to know that.

If you Answer 'yes' then you are just an idiot.

Your post is full of flaws or else you must hate this country more than anyone on here. Both times presidents have been impeached on very shaky grounds both times, neither did anything good for the country. Neither Johnson nor Clinton was removed from office so all that negativity around the impeachment was a waste of money and time. Secondly, so do you not realize that impeachment does not remove a president from office? At least 67 Senators must vote to remove from office, and that is highly unlikely to happen. No one can be a traitor to his country unless he gives secrets to an enemy of the US. Russia, despite the wishes of leftists, is not considered an enemy of the US so there can be no treason. You need a good course in American government and the Constitution because your post shows you are sorely lacking in knowledge of both. You are making wild accusation without one iota of fact. Your hatred of this man, for whatever flimsy reason, has evidently clouded your thinking. Posts like this should not be on the forum because they add nothing. I, for one, am sick of hearing attacks from intolerant leftists and the leftist media. They are appalling.

The Logan Act (1 Stat. 613, 18 U.S.C.§ 953, enacted January 30, 1799) is a United States federal law that details the fine and/or imprisonment of unauthorized citizens who negotiate with foreign governments having a dispute with the United States. It was intended to prevent the undermining of the government's position. The Act was passed following George Logan's unauthorized negotiations with France in 1798, and was signed into law by President John Adams on January 30, 1799. The Act was last amended in 1994, and violation of the Logan Act is a felony.

To date, only two people have ever been indicted for violating the Act's provisions. However, no person has ever been prosecuted for alleged violations of the Act.

So in 2007 when Nancy Pelosi, against the wishes of the White House met with Syria's Assad she violated the Logan Act. Hmmm...I wonder what the statute of limitations are?

Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

Folks in Congress, especially the Speaker of the House and committee chairs meet with world leaders all the time, nothing nefarious about that.

But the curious question is why was Nancy Pelosi getting so cozy with Assad in the first place? Trying to get advice on how to become a ruthless Dictator?,

And if and when there is actual of proof of such actions, other than unnamed sources and innuendo I will formulate a position. But Pelosi purposely cozied up to ruthless dictator who used chemical on his own people, there is no disputing that fact. Why? For political purposes and to undermine and embarrass the POTUS. In doing so, that cvnt put party before country and violated the Logan Act.

It's nothing, again. See, once there is a lull in news, Proggies in media roll out some theory or story from months ago. There's the Logan act,'Collusion', and when all else fails , just scream 'Russians'.

It gets all the truly dumb democrat/prog/liberals to come running.
Left leaning News media needs eyeballs to make $- and they sureeeeee have a sucker audience.

Obama was just meeting with leaders a few months ago as a private Citizen. Let alone before the 2008 Election. So will they be arrested too ?

Jack- Maybe Pelosi is Italian. They believe in keeping your friends close, but your enemies closer.

Decent people get out and vote Democrat next year for the local elections and vote Democrat for president in 2020. Let's put people in charge who know what they are doing!
