Nov. 6, 2012, Trump tweets: "Yesterday Obama campaigned with JayZ & Springsteen while Hurricane Sandy victims across NY & NJ are still decimated by Sandy. Wrong!"

In all fairness, no president can go to the area suffering from a hurricane while the storm is still raging. The real issue is has he done all he can to put in place the needed relief efforts so they can begin as soon as the storm is over. By all accounts, the answer here is yes, he has.
First the governor is required to request federal disaster aid by declaring an emergency. Scott has done that.
FEMA must be given the go ahead to deploy it's planned relief efforts. That has been done.

It is a fact that Obama did not make a habit of visiting disaster areas after the storms.

No, Snidely, it's hypocrisy. That's what it's called when you criticize others for doing what YOU do.

You're right, Obama didn't. And do you know why? Because such a visit would require local resources be added to his entourage for security, and Obama didn't want to take any of those resources away from rescue and recovery efforts. Hillary made the same decision for the same reason, staying away from the flood areas in Louisiana in 2016, unlike Trump, who decided to use the disaster as a campaign photo op.

He had not done anything when he criticized President Obama. Perhaps, when he found himself in a similar situation, he decided there was no reason he should not go to the rally.

Which is still hypocrisy.

He is a hypocrite. A crook, a conman and a common NY street thug. These are facts.

In that case, a real grownup would have admitted his previous error and apologized. But we're talking about The Donald here ... keep your expectations really low.

Never apologize, never explain. The situations are not identical, so the actions are not identical. If someone cannot see the difference that is their problem. The Left is going to complain no matter what.

I didn't know it was called hypocrisy. I thought it was called Rules for Radicals :)

"Never apologize, never explain." The epitome of incivility.

Trump is a hypocrite. I'll never understand why someone with your intellect spends so much time and effort defending such a horrible excuse for a man.
