Google - Pat Robertson Establishes A ‘Shield of Protection’ Against Hurricane Florence

Yes he's a Trump supporter.

He is commanding God to turn the hurricane away from his property.

Gee Pat - how come you didn't do this last year when Puerto Rico got hit?

Puerto Rico isn't Robinson's property. Duh.

Classic Linsie, absolutely classic. Pretending that a decent man of God wouldn't care for anything other than his own property. Classic. No one plays stupid better than you.

This may come as a shock to you West, but Christians are not tasked with saving everybody from everything all the time.
Much of the devastation in Puerto Rico was unanticipated, as were the levy failures during Katrina.

The people who have been banned do not get responses.

Kate has made it clear that responses to posts by people who have been banned will be removed also.

PNWest's words should never be removed. the words of PNWest are a national...... no make that a WORLD treasure. They should be kept, curated and taught to future generations.

Therefore if you have been banned here do not expect a response unless I feel like toying with you. Got it? Or let me rephrase..... The die has been cast. The Rubicon has been crossed.

A long time ago, I used to pray the same thing: "Lord, send this hurricane elsewhere." Then I realized that I was praying that someone else would be devastated and not me. Selfish!

These days, my prayer for storms is "Lord, let the storm fizzle out in the middle of the Atlantic, or let it be a time of cleansing, community bonding, and restoration for those who are impacted."

PN, don't make this some indictment on all Christians like you usually do.

Both PR and the NO levies were anticipated... They were just ignored...

New Orleans knew for a long time that it was only a matter of time before those levies would break. Everyone knows that islands can be wiped out by a single storm.

Nobody was ignorant. Just apathetic.

PNWest NEVER makes indictments of all Christians. I only call out the FAKE ones, those who ignore the way Jesus lived and think that the Bible is about banning abortion and smoting gay people.

PNWest spent nearly 30 years on the gulf coast and is well aware of the horrors that a hurricane can inflict. A lot of the horrors are going to be worse because of conservatives who deny science. If the hurricane hits them and messes up their lives while I feel sorry for that , they helped to bring it on themselves.

And greedy. We know for a fact that generations of local officials in NOLA used money intended for levy repair for other things including personal aggrandizement.
FEMA has confirmed there are still millions of bottles of water sitting at the airport; supplies the locals never handed out.

Is it any wonder that NOLA was nickmamed the Big Sleazy, due to corruption in city hall and the police department?
As for the bottles of water that were never handed out, what about President Bush‘s warning to Governor Blanco and Mayor Nagin that a category 5 hurricane was 72 hours away and they needed to order an immediate manditory evacuation, yet they waited 48 hours to suggest a voluntary evacuation and left all those school buses in the flooded 9th ward instead of using them to move people to higher ground before the levees were breached?

I‘m wondering why the dickens Robertson didn‘t “pray” this hurricane back out to sea like he “prayed” the last hurricane headed for Virginia Beach out to sea.

Tere is only so much a president can do. The majority of the effort HAS to come from the local governments.

What really grinds my gears is when these local officials blame the president for their own inaction.

Local Democrat officials don't solve problems, they just promise to. Over and over, and over.

No new person.

I was poking fun at the ridiculous statement that one of the banned users posted about his banninging.

First he posted - "The die has been cast"

Later he followed up with a message saying "The Rubicon has been crossed"

Those had to be two of the most ridiculous posts ever posted here.

If you want to see some really ridiculous post, visit the Minneapolis forum. It‘s been completely taken over by trolls posting such disgustingly perverted garbage under each other‘s usernames that I wonder who, if anyone, is “moderating” it.
