Now if we could only get the rest of the EPA's employees to follow Jackson out the door, call it "employee attrition", and the last one turns out the lights and locks the door, the nation would be better off.

never happen...fed govt workers know they have the best jobs, highest pay, lowest hours, lowest expectations, protection from firing, best bennies, best vacation and time off, they got it made...the positions are filled mostly thru diversity quotas, not on qualifications, and once you are in, you are set for life.

Obama has zillions of anti properity, agenda mad "Progressives" who will deal America more bone crushing regulations. We voted to be less concerned about our kids futures and must accept the consequences. Geo Orwelle has us pegged as self destructive morons and our political choices confirm it.

You mean big energy and manufacturing would be better off, since no one would be tracing their destruction of the environment or making them clean it up, don't you?

Or do you just like putting people out of work?

In fact is is those who oppose environmental protections who are "less concerned about our kids' futures." As usual, you're confused, Dan.

Liberals lying like Al Gore and others on the cause of any possible global warming....investing heavily on green energy companies that go bankrupt...take the loss off taxes...to the tune of billions..big al now worth over half a billion, most scientists saying IF global warming is occuring it's a natural cause.

Gullible idiots, give big al more money, put good people out of work. Support George Soros drilling in Africa and South Ameria..

What a plan!

Big energy and manufacturing create private sector jobs and real wealth, as well as provide the goods and services America wants and needs.

The EPA, on the other hand, is at least in part responsible for the high energy costs we pay today, and for driving U.S. manufacturing to China, where, incidentally, there is no EPA.

I guess the mess is fine as long as it's somewhere else, eh>?

Indeed I do like putting bureaucrats out of work. However, the folks who currently work for the EPA would be welcome to get honest jobs over in big energy and manufacturing, as both would see resurgence upon the EPA's demise.

As for "clean up", I'm fully comfortable that the private sector would handle that, just as it did prior to the creation of the EPA in 1970. There's a lot of folks alive and healthy today who were born and raised prior to the existence of the EPA. It's cost to the taxpayer and the U.S. economy is simply far out of proportion to it's actual usefulness.

I think what he meant is she resigned because she had sent up an email under a false name and was conducting gov business using this email. A court has ordered that the emails be released. It is quite possible and more than probable that she wants out before they are released.

That's becoming quite a pattern for the Obama Administration, isn't it?

I think that's what liberals call "transparency".

Lisa Jackson proved to be the enemy of millions of Americans and of the private sector including thousands of small businesses and corporations that lost all their profits and became losers under the hundreds of thousands of Obama's regulation. Lisa Jackson was able to suffocate all the energy based industries that had to close and send home without any job millions of Americans in the name of the liberalism and the liberal Democrat call for the destruction of American industry. Good riddance Lisa Jackson.
