I thought Ryan ran from the Nuns On The Bus. They wanted to talk about his Budget which is Cruel and Immoral.
I am pretty sure he dropped his "claim" that it met the requirements of the Catholic religion.

Damn, if there is that much of it floating around wasted, it should be easy yo get.
The white hillbillies are just like the blacks and the Mexicans. You see them. They are ALL fat as hell, dumb as fence posts, all on SSI and food stamps and welfare. That's why the red states use up all the tax money and states like NY and CA pay for the dumb fat hillbillies to live. NY and CA have the highly educated whites who create, produce, make everything, keep the economy going, make the good money and pay all the taxes. Of course the dumb hillbillies don't like people from big cities. They hate smart women too. So?? So what? All they do is take drugs, get drunk, breed and eat way too much.

I don't have a problem if they save it.
I have a problem when my children and grandchildren have to pay into something they will never have a hope of receiving if they need it.
the problem is that it is pay as you go. so the money that goes into SS today is paid out at the end of this month to those on SS. The thing is there are sooooo many people on it, like 60 million, and there are currently 10,000 more people each day now going onto SS and Medicare, soon it will be up to about 130 million people on SS and Medicare, when you add the 80 million baby boomers now retiring onto the 60 million already on SS and Medicare today. So imagine you would have to tax this younger smaller generation like 80 percent of their wages in SS and Medicare taxes to pay the baby boomers SS and Medicare. And, the real problem here is if you are not going to pay anyone under 55 SS and Medicare, you stop collecting the taxes from them, then this month payments to those on SS and Medicare would stop. That's the problem. It's a Ponzi scheme.

See the baby boomers' money went to the World War II generation. All the SS money they paid in went now to the WWII folks who have been on those programs for about 40 years now because they paid zero into Medicare and only one-half of one percent into SS, so the politicians figured just take the current workers' contributions and give it to the WWII folks, so now they do not have anywhere near enough workers to give same to the baby boomers. One problem is the government figured people would live to be 62 and most would die before collecting, but now people live to be 100, so now you have parents in their 80s on the programs AND their old kids in their 60s on the programs at the same time. Add in the ever advancing health care, the expenses of the new tests, new meds, new procedures, you have a fiscal cliff that is so bad, this is why the government added up how much it would cost to give the baby boomers Medicare with advanced health care and with them living 20-40 years longer than the government expected them to live, and it comes out to $80 TRILLION it would cost to give them just Medicare. So this is the problem.

If people want government health care for like 20-40 years retired, that is full blown socialism, so you would have to create European style taxes to pay for it. You need a value added tax or national sales tax to come up with that kind of money. So the tea party is pro-socialist, no way around that. They can no longer just hang onto this idea that they want government health care for 20-40 years while retired but that they hate socialism. That is the definition of insanity.

Which is why I said I did not care if they ended it today, no more money paid out.

That's simply not true. You can keep spreading that propaganda, but it doesn't make it true.

I'm not a Dem. A Democrat would not speak badly about Mexicans and blacks being on welfare. I'm a big fan of Ron Paul. I wish he was going to be our next president.

Me too.
At least I think Paul has influenced the GOP significantly.
Although not my first choice, I was impressed by Romney in the first debate. I saw a new side of him.
I do wish he had shown more backbone after the 47% comment, which is 100% true and correct.
