Appalled but not surprised. Although wishing bad things on people is the worst thing here automatically associating the WORD slavery with negative US history to artificially invoke outrage basically shows his and Msnbc's mindset. It's just another confirmation of their agenda and attitude.

I think these pop stars including Bashir want to seem hip and cool bashing the political opposition along with making it "seem" like they are standing up to what ever in their small world.

Bashir was probably forced to apologize days after his network had to suspend Alec Baldwin for comments on his own time no matter how stupid. Bashir made his comments on company time.

Those commentators need to do group therapy somewhere else other than in public. If they want to let loose or get it all out they need to do it in private.
