Now is the perfect time to eliminate the 2 party system. Obama only has 3 years left. If Reid can't get this done, the chances of a third term for Obama are slim.

It's about time.

The filibuster is ridiculous.

It'll apply equally if the GOPasaurs ever get control of the Senate again.

Too bad they're not going to include SCOTUS nominations in that simply majority vote rule.

Elections have consequences, and the President- REGARDLESS OF PARTY- should get a simple up or down vote to confirm or deny their appointments/nominees.

Let's hope Reid actually gets this to a vote. It's been a long time coming. This filibuster BS needs to end!

Can these people get any more crooked. They will not follow the Constitution. There is a election next year. We need to eliminate these Anti American Creatures. If it was up to them her wouldn't any more elections. That Chicago bunch make Al Capone look like a Boy Scout.

In the last 230 years, there has been 23 Presidential judicial nominees filibustered. 20 of those 23 came within the last 4 years under President Obama by the current Republicans in the Senate.

That's all the evidence required to show the Republicans conspiring and obstructing against the consciousness of the American electorate.

The Republicans are strategizing to shut down the justice system in America.

The Filibuster is used worse when it comes to Presidential appointees to his administration.

This is part of the sworn oath by Republicans to make sure this President fails and is a one term President.

This is part of the Republican Neo Nazi pledge and, in ushering in anarchy.

Are you now going to attempt to revise history and place the "filibuster" within the text of the U.S Constitution?

The Filibuster is a Senate Rule, exclusive to the U.S Senate and devised by the Senate. The Senate Majority makes the rules for the session.

The only cause for a pause would be if the Republicans were again to win the Majority in the Senate. Looking forward it's unlikely that will happen anytime soon, and it's even doubtful there will be another Republican occupying the White House in the next 30 years after the demise of America under George Bush.

It's good to see the Republicans over playing technical difficulties of a web site as a disaster for reforming Health Care and, championing a restoration of power to the Insurance Companies.

This gives little doubt in the nation that Republicans are instrumental in protecting American industries and are opposed to protecting typical American consumers from insurance industry abuses.

Your ignorance continues to break records. There is nothing in the Constitution to provide for a filibuster.

Try to keep up with reality scooter. There was never a bigger deal and better deal for the insurance companies than Obamacare. They have been guaranteed new customers, millions of new customers. And if they don't get the customers they were promised by Obama...they get a bail out too!!! Keep up and try to stay currant on the facts, it will help you look like you might have a point now and then.

And there is really little doubt that after Bush the Democrats had it made. Unfortunately Obama screwed the pooch and Democrats will be lucky to keep any seats in the Senate and who the hell would even chance it with another one in the White House after the crooked liars we are suffering with now? Bring on the mid-terms!!!!!
