Ohio is the next Michigan: Union owned with decaying cities and a fleeing population.

Such a shame.

With strong unions Detroit thrived. It will again with union strength growing. Bosses have contracts, and the workers shouls to. Germany has unions with an equal seat at the table and their economy is great! Germany would've voted for Obama in a big landslide.
We welcome the swift death of the Know Nothing party, the repuglicons!

Detriot is a LOOOONG way from thriving. Like 50 years away at best, IF they can change their ways. I have my doubts. The unions and bad management killed the golden goose.

Too little, too late and Ohio didn't learn the lesson from the "state up north." Soon it will be the same here; a government owned and operated by the public unions where the citizens have no say in the statehouse.

It's already in motion.

Enjoy the "recovery" up there. Hope that works out for you.

They want Rockefeller, Morgan, Vanderbilt, Westinghouse, Edison and others to return and run OH as in the 1890's under slavery conditions, polluting environments, and the will to fire and hire at will with not social security net. A total disregard for individuals and the celebration of savage greed!
.
South Carolina, Mississippi and Louisiana are right to work states and their unemployment are horrible!

And you want to steal ownership rights to a company that you have no right to. Talk about savage greed!

Wow, that's pretty scary to think that America could begin to look like Detroit in the next few years if BO and his Union goons are let loose in all areas. Are parts of Ohio on the same road as Detroit?

Looney toones? Is that the company you are talking about? What is being talked about is the concentration of wealth, monopoly or colluding with others to fix prices and steal from the public, running polluting equipment and total disregard for workers well being. And then morgarizing the process with automation to eliminate jobs, reduce cost, and expect demand from the locals.

Damn right, it's scary.

And just what have you produced? What great invention? How are those green jobs doing? Seems the only thing green about them is the money they flush down the drain or rather out of the country prior to the bankruptcy filings

Columbus is similar to both Detroit and Mogadishu, the Somalis near me were so excited over the re-election of Obama (and the continuation of food stamps, WIC, Section 8) that they slaughtered a goat outside of my apartment building and cooked it over an open flame and even jumped through like fire like the African savages that they are. Too bad Obama didn't join them with his Kenyan roots.

It was admittedly Schadenfreude that prompted me to choose Fox “News” to watch the election returns. What I saw confirmed my conviction that living in an alternate reality with alternate facts and alternate truths does not lead to success, but to failure and disappointment.

It was a quick death for Republicans living in the Fox bubble when it burst, but indeed a slow death to those of us who painfully watched the bubble meticulously inflate over the many long months of the presidential campaign. Sadly, the Fox personalities were taken by surprise as the inevitable became obvious.

When the Democrat Party kicked out the Dixiecrats, back in the day, they were welcomed with open arms by the Republican Party. Unless the Republican Party does the same by kicking them (now known as the Tea Party people) out, they will continue to live in a bubble and to lose. The fact is that the Tea Party people are century-challenged xenophobic white centrists who stand strongly in opposition to the changing demographic of the United States. As Jon Stewart observed during his live coverage of the election, the Democrats had the United States and the Republicans had pretty much the Confederacy. I found this one of the most honest statements of reality election night.

The Republican leadership needs to stand up to those people and kick them out before they spoil another election for the GOP. Let them form their own legitimate political party instead of hijacking and hiding in other parties, just like they once hid behind hoods as they terrorized and killed African Americans.

We need the Republican party and it needs to restore its once proud status as the Grand Old Party, a Republican Party that is flexible enough to negotiate.

You want the GOP to be like what Putin wants Obama to be like?

Are you daft?

We will burn this country down before we give into Obama.

I think what has to happen is the same thing that happened under Carter. 18% interest rates were the straw that broke the docile sheeple's backs.
Republicans should stick to their guns - current tax rates for all. If Barry doesn't agree, let the tax rates expire and let the economy tank. Then, after Barry's massive tax increases kick in, it can tank even more.
The Russians won against Hitler using scorched earth tactics, so why not here.
If Reid snd Barry get a CO2 tax on that will be the catalyst for world wide ecconomic colapse.
