Why on Earth would anyone vote for this woman? She claims she is a conservative but her family is a mess! Lead by example much? Besides that she is ditzy and a bubble head. NO INTELLIGENCE.(graduated with barely a C avg and it took her a few more years at that)

Please GOP, save yourself from the neoc0ns; choose someone with brains and that is a REAL conservative, you know, someone who actually follows the Constitution! How about a Gary Johnson in 2012? I'd even go for Michele Bachman (although questionable) Romney?, Jindal, Sanford, Pawlenty, Knapp etc.

ALL BETTER THAN PALIN!

yeah, and hils is ballsy and that didn't get her anywhere.

I consider myself a right leaning independent, at least fiscally. Palin brings way too much baggage with her that I simply can't support in a politician, even as I admire her to at least some extent as a mother. Politically she's way too polarizing, imho.

What the hell is wrong with us? Why is the country moving to the right when conservative economic and social policies are the reason why we're in this mess? What is it about Americans that make them root against their own self-interest for the benefit of a small number of rich people at the top?

Do you guys not remember what the country was like under George W. Bush? It was eight long years of horrible policy after horrible policy, and our solution is to support a woman who's practically a Bush clone? Snap out of it!!

Sarah Palin's rise to the top is easy to explain - she's there to put a human face on the dreadful, mean-spirited, pro-wealthy, anti-poor, anti-middle-class policies of the Republican Party. Policies which, starting with Reagan, transfer wealth from the poor and middle class to the wealthiest 1% of wage earners through tax cuts, corporate subsidies, bank bailouts, deregulation of the financial markets and the breaking of our labor unions.

Yes idiot, the fact that there's no union representation is one of the reasons why you're working 70 hours a week for $200 a week. And instead of getting angry and supporting the unions, you're supporting the people who want to trash them?

I would ordinarliy tell you guys that you're getting what's coming to you, except that there are too many innocent people who will be dragged down with you.

We need socialism, not a figurehead for the banks and the rich. She's not one of you, dummy!!

That's super duper, because her "ballsy" attitude will leave you without a job or a home. Kind of like what Bush did for eight years.

But hey, she's not black, so she must be an improvement, right?

one reason is social welfare back when....when it was meant as temporary aide and since became a way of life, now an expected/demanded entitlement like health care.

That's right, we're already without jobs or homes...and you don't think Republican policies have anything to do with that? You don't think the Reagan or Bush years took a toll on this country?

You think OBAMA did it, even though he's been President for about one year? So many tea party people are acting as if everything was fine under Obama was elected, and that's garbage.

John Kerry served in the military, unlike the two draft dodgers Bush and tricky Dick. Did you vote for him?

Social welfare? You think that financial aid to the neediest families is the reason why the economy is dying? You're not serious, are you?

Welfare is a huge problem, but it's CORPORATE welfare that's the problem! The kind of welfare where we the taxpayers have to bail out banks and Wall St. investment firms and subsidize major corporations, the kind of welfare that allows the richest Americans to get even richer at the expense of the poor. All the while these rich corporate welfare recipients preach to us about "fiscal responsiblity" and "personal responsibility." What a bunch of garbage!!

That social welfare that you're blaming was killed off under Clinton and the Republican congress in 1994. It doesn't exist anymore, hasn't existed for about 16 years.

And health care should be an entitlement for every American citizen. It should be nationalized, and every private for-profit health insurance company should be shut down. Universal health care for all!

Kevin, hate to say this, but you are a dumbass!
The jobless and homelessness you speak of is NOW! Under W. UNemployment was under 5% all 8 years. Under W. the stock market hit over 14,000, now it's around 10,000. Under W. we were not hit again in 8 yrs. And I won't bring up the fact that 9-11 was planned under Clinton.... whoops I just did.... sorry about that Kev...You can go back to your Kool-Aid now.
PS... That black thing is gettin' old man. Why don't you blame it on Bush.....Seems to work for Odumbazz...

52% of the vote ain't a landslide Bevis. The landslide was Bush/Dukakis (1988 for all you Obama voters) 49 states to one!!!
