Good luck with that, Barack !

Most cities/states ALREADY have designated 'enterprise zones' to encourage development/improvements.

But Rick Perry boasts that Texas is No.1 in job creation, so one has wonder about the quality of those jobs being created in Texas that Texas still leads the nation in their citizens and residents, 25% existing in abject poverty

That puts Texas on par with nations like Argentina and Venezuela

It doesn't matter how many jobs you have if the shiftless don't want to work. These people will not work as long as they are getting free money. Would you? They are perfectly satisfied to lay around waiting for the mailman to bring their check. What part of lazy do you not understand? They won't even allow themselves to be retrained.

It should considering the condition of the American economy when Obama accepted the keys from George Bush after 8 years of the republican policies.

America only suffered the worse job and financial loss in the history of capitalism in 2009

Mr President, did you not notice the poverty in your own chosen home place, Chicago? You might want to look into that city as well as the others.

It's not the economy, it's jobs.......... some of you complaining without the necessary skills to be competitive, mostly in the southern and mid western region; can't find employment and thus are laying on the backs of the workers to support you.

The right to work States are producing thousands more jobs then the big union states. Chicago is going the way of Detroit, and I gather there are a couple California cities on the way out as well. You cannot tax the hell out of businesses and expect them to stay until you tax them into bankruptcy. Besides the Educational systems in those big cities are not producing workers ready to work. And the people who should be ready to work are already signed up for Government Aid. Why work if you don't need to?

of the 50 States, it's the red States in need of extending unemployment benefits because of the high level of unemployment in those States. It's those citizens at the base of the Republican Party who are jobless in huge numbers.

Worse Unemployment States
38 SOUTH CAROLINA 8.1%
39 INDIANA 8.4%
40 KENTUCKY 8.5%
40 MISSISSIPPI 8.5%
40 TENNESSEE 8.5%
43 NEW JERSEY 8.6%
45 CALIFORNIA 8.7%
46 GEORGIA 8.8%
46 MICHIGAN 8.8%
48 NORTH CAROLINA 8.9%
48 RHODE ISLAND 8.9%
50 ILLINOIS 9.2%
51 NEVADA 9.5%

4 Blue States, 7 Red States with Right to Work legislation.

The Better Unemployment States

1 NORTH DAKOTA 3%
2 SOUTH DAKOTA 3.9%
3 NEBRASKA 4.2%
4 HAWAII 4.5%
5 UTAH 4.6%
6 VERMONT 4.6%
7 WYOMING 4.6%
8 IOWA 4.8%
9 NEW HAMPSHIRE 5.1%
10 MINNESOTA 5.2%

5 Blue States, and 5 Red States.

The Economy is good, profits are up into record territory, it's jobs that are slow and unqualified individuals who are most idle.

It's ridiculous to say the economy is bad unless you don't have a 401k and, or some kind of retirement and pension fund tripling it's worth.

In that case yea, you're not one of the 90 Million Americans profiting from the economy and praying your employer throws you a bone..

I don't believe your number are quite correct. Texas is creating more jobs then the national numbers some months. The Unions in most big cities have priced themselves out of business. That is why they want the illegals so they can lower everyone's wages.

Oh yeah, the good old days of Bush… unpatriotic idiots like you would miss a 9-11 type terrorist attack, the economy falling over a cliff, unnecessary wars that the nation was lied into that killed our troops and innocent civilians and being hated around the world…

Just STFU you idiot.
