Idiots asking you to explain your position?
Why do you think this is a free speech issue?
Do you understand the scope of the First Amendment in this context?
Or are you just another loudmouthed coward that cannot defend his asinine position?

freedom of speech and the hypocrisy of the left, are you sure you read my posts? Restrictions on freedom of speech should upset us all, IMO the left is only concerned with speech they agree with.
That would go for either side. The hypocrisy is, you refuse to think your side does it.
But you keep using the phrase "freedom of speech" wrongly, in my opinion.
I don't think either side is demanding the other to not be allowed to speak. Both sides are not wishing to put the opposing side on a platform.
Your exaggerations betray you.
Again, by your reasoning, a show person should be able to say anything with zero consequences by his employer. That is silly.

Briefly, IMHO , the right suffers much more for the foolish things they say in public than the left does, Examples abound. Freedom of speech doesn't just pertain to government censorship. Any speech that results in punishment is relative to this thread..

One example from the left, millions of Americans never even heard of Martin Bashir;s filthy, vile, disgusting and unwarranted comments about Palin. The LSM ignores them, you can't deny that. MSNBC had to wait until they had exhausted all efforts to save Bashir before he had to go. He should have been fired immediately, his comment was outrageous, beyond the pale. Robertson's were bad, but no comparison.

AS usual, I am right.

The fact is, A & E, as a private entity, can suspend or fire any employee for speech that said company finds offensive, just as any other business in the United States can. So many people do not understand the meaning of "freedom of speech".

LIAR!! Palin never said any such thing.

Tina Fey made that quote, and she [Fey] said, "I can see Russia from my house."

The actual quote made by Palin, "They're our next-door neighbors, and you can actually see Russia from land here in Alaska, from an island in Alaska." Never a mention of porch, deck, veranda, house, etc.

Hey! Don't let a little pesky FACT get in the way of your incredible ignorance fcukwad.

You are right buckboy she cant see Russia but the point is that after all the stupidity and nonsense from palin folks could believe this was another example of her ignorance.

Palin continues to show her ignorance as she picks her "freespeech" outrages - you know the partisan outrages - that show such a high level of hypocrisy that Russia is the least of her problems!.

Freedom of speech means freedom to speak your mind without Government intervention. That is exactly what Phil did, and why A & E "Un suspended" him right away. This whole thing backfired in the GLADD faces who has the mistaken idea we all agree with every thing they believe in. We believe they have rights, but they cannot encroach on the rights of others. The Liberal faction of the U S is quickly unraveling. Obama is not the end all be all, he is bad news in the case of liberty.
