The Dems won the last 2 elections with a very liberal candidate. Why would they change what works?
The GOP lost the last 2 elections with fairly moderate candidates. Why could they continue what didn't work?
I expect the Dems to nominate a typical liberal candidate like Hillary or Gov Cuomo or Gov O'Malley etc.
I expect the GOP to nominate an extremely conservative candidate along the lines of Santorum.
If the economy continues to improve of the next 4 years, I expect it'll be another blowout for the Dems.
The economy won't be able to sustain the 16 trillion dollar deficit,(11 trillion added in the first 2 years of the Odumbo administration). The fiscal cliff can't be avoided indefinitely, and once we go over, the brevity of this administration's fiscal irresponsibility will be felt by ALL.

Those on welfare should be disqualified from voting, as it is a conflict of interest.

Democrats would never go for it, however, because welfare is how they buy votes.

Exactly.

I was in eastern California in April, and anti-Obama sentiment was running high.

Speaking of asses, Romney and the Republicans had theirs collectively handed to them Tuesday night.
Really, the investigation into Benghazi is just getting started. You think because Odumbo got re-elected he's safe from the hangman's noose? WRONG!

Agreed.

The question remains as to whether we, as conservatives, should support continuing to stave it off, or if we should participate, along with those on the left, in speeding over the cliff, in order to hasten a real solution.

The only permanent answer to our fiscal mess is a smaller government, and a bigger economy.

Unfortunately, Obama promises us just the opposite.

I don't watch faux news. I just want what is mine. Now pay attention. We have a fiat currency. the currency is negative money. the money can be lended out up to nine times I believe at a reduction of ten per cent each time it is done. So a dollar saved loses ten per cent each time it is lent out. I followed biblical and long term practices and saved as we all our of honor and integrity..as you promote yourself...right! well there are people who have messed with it and many are politicians who convince us of so many things. This currency can be use for good if kept under control. And will last for a while. But greed and selfishness and voting for what we want has turned America into a basket case as we are torn between multiple ways of thought. A real economic correction will alleviate your word very quickly. I will never get ehat is mine. But I will spend what I got left. Then I will get paid from noble men and women like yourself. And you won't say a word directing towards violence. As I don't.

I'm all for letting it happen. It will prove once and for all to liberal dems that Odumbo WILL indeed raise their taxes along with everyone else's. And for what. To pay back all the elitists who financed his first campaign. Sooner or later the libtards decisions will come to bare.

The states that the liberals are complaining about are the ones that have gone majority race Mexicans - New Mexico, Nevada, etc. Then they complain that it is Asians and East Indians going to college. That's the reality of it. The Hispanic community has gone the way of the black community so we have to import smart folks who can attend college and who are willing to work from other countries. This country is going to end up being whites, East Indians and Asians working paying for 80 percent of the both the black and Hispanic communities to live on welfare. So how much longer can Obama run up $1 trillion or more per year in debt to prop up the bankrupt state pensions and to keep handing out welfare? Eventually they run out of money to borrow, they can't pass new taxes, then what? That's the state CA is in now. They have no more answers. This is all going to end like Greece with defaulting on the debt and deep austerity measures after defaulting.

The government should never have started the big welfare programs. They are nothing more than magnets for dumb folks to be able to drop out of high school by having kids out of wedlock and being able to live fat off of the government. The government should never have started social security nor medicare. Now look at the monster it has created.$16 trillion of debt,$121 trillion of unfunded liabilities in social security and medicare, no way to pay those programs to a second generation, 80 percent of black and Hispanic women having kids out of wedlock to get onto welfare, the white liberals cheering all of this sh!t on as if any of it is real or good or one bit sane, and now we have to import people from China and India to take the jobs our people can't take cause they are too lazy and too dumb.

This country was taken over by people coming here illegally from a third world country, and then we are told to act like it is somehow so great. It's not one bit great. What is so great about being surrounded by people who do not speak the same language as you, who don't pay taxes, who have ten kids on welfare that join gangs and end up in prison? MSNBC keeps telling me it is just so great, so great.

This is what they are saying in Europe, immigration from the Middle East and from Africa and from Turkey destroyed the European countries as the immigrants go onto welfare and create ghettos and then the PC folks tell the whites to lie about all of it and pretend that it is just fine. Fine to go bankrupt, fine to have high crime ghettos, fine to spend all the tax money on welfare and prisons, fine to have to import smart people from China and India to take the jobs those from third world countries can't take?? Fine how??

If the Mexicans take over the U.S., the whites are not going to stay here and keep paying for them to live and watch the country go third world. They will move to Europe or elsewhere.

Wow! Back in the late 1980'w the younger boomers begged for a solution. You know, what we are doing today. And it was feasable. But those wily progressives with the help of the corrupted just raised taxes several times saying if the system was solvent for 75 years. Reagan did raise a flag as he was promised reforms in many issues. But politics being what they are ad the bitching of trickle down economics became like a siren to Dems. So subtract the years from then. It would be 2050 easily with no deficit. And why are we worried about it and talking about death panels and the like? Lets party. Because that is what I am going to do for th rest of my years. And if I falter. Well gosh darn it, big daddy government will take care of me and others who paid and paid some more. I am thinking like you so don't get mad. Its just the feeling of guilt that so many others don't have and crossing the line that bothers me.

Eleven years of a war that was caused by what? Have you forgotten that these wars began because of an attack. Even the invasion of Iraq the second time around was based on intelligence gathering by our operatives. You can glaze it over, but once the invasion began over there, it needed to be satiated. It still isn't, though we may begin another here shortly with Syria or Libya or Iran or Russia(?), it's anyone's guess. But one thing is for sure, it won't be because of Bush anymore.

Yes, and the fiscal cliff is coming, it cannot be staved off. Odumbo and his minions will harvest the bitter fruit of unbridled spending.

Defense of our nation is a constitutional priority.
