Let's don't forget this 100% democrat authored disaster that blew up in everyone's face:

The unvarnished truth, part 2:

The current mortgage crisis came about in large part because of Clinton-era government pressure on lenders to make risky loans in order to “make homeownership more affordable for lower-income Americans and those with a poor credit history,” the DC Examiner notes today.“Those steps encouraged riskier mortgage lending by minimizing the role of credit histories in lending decisions, loosening required debt-to-equity ratios to allow borrowers to make small or even no down payments at all, and encouraging lenders the use of floating or adjustable interest-rate mortgages, including those with low ‘teasers.’â

The liberal Village Voice previously chronicled how Clinton Administration housing secretary Andrew Cuomo helped spawn the mortgage crisis through his pressure on lenders to promote affordable housing and diversity.“Andrew Cuomo, the youngest Housing and Urban Development secretary in history, made a series of decisions between 1997 and 2001 that gave birth to the country’s current crisis. He took actions that—in combination with many other factors—helped plunge Fannie and Freddie into the subprime markets without putting in place the means to monitor their increasingly risky investments.

He turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded ‘kickbacks’ to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why.”(See Wayne Barrett,“Andrew Cuomo and Fannie and Freddie: How the Youngest Housing and Urban Development Secretary in History Gave Birth to the Mortgage Crisis,” Village Voice, August 5, 2008).

Investors Business Daily had an editorial yesterday about how another federal “law designed to encourage minority homeownership” also contributed to the mortgage crisis by pressuring lenders to make risky loans.
Did not the Republicans clearly so the collapse coming and the liberal dufus in congress yelled "racism"?

Bush Budget Deficit Year 2.
For fiscal 2003, the U.S. Government is reporting a net operating cost of $665 billion, an increase of $300 billion from the $365 billion net operating cost reported last year. The increase is primarily attributable to the increased cost of the global war on terrorism, increases in the government’s post-retirement liabilities and a decline in tax revenues caused by the sluggish economy.

Bush Budget Deficit Year 3.
In fiscal year 2004, government revenues were $1.9 trillion, an increase of more than $100 billion over fiscal year 2003 and the first increase in revenues in four years. The net cost of the
government’s operations was $2.5 trillion, including all accrued costs. Total revenues less operating costs resulted in a net operating cost of slightly more than $615 billion, down from $668
billion last year. The budget deficit for 2004 was $412 billion.

Bush Budget Deifict Year 4.
As Treasury and the Office of Management and Budget reported in October in our 2005 fiscal-year-end budget report, the growing economy brought 2005 revenues to a level of $2.2 trillion. This increase of almost $275 billion over 2004 revenues was nearly a 15 percent increase and was also the largest year-over-year percentage increase in receipts in over 20 years. These increased revenues resulted in a much lower-than-expected 2005 budget deficit. While

<quoted text>It seems you're tired from trying to devise a narrative to justify the Bush Tax policies that destroyed american economy. On someone that doesn't have the knowledge of American finances and policies your attempts may work. On those of us who followed the Bush policies it will never work.

Budget deficits and borrowing never amassed until the Bush tax cuts were signed into law, and the borrowing compounded with the Wars and the ill advised Prescription plan gifted to the Pharmacy Industry.

The nail in the coffin was the 2003 policies governing Overseas profit generation for American Corporations.

The legs of the depression began with the first round of 2006 home foreclosures, as the banks began to cut off American Consumers, the depression got worse.

Religion=Organized Superstition

Judaism has some advantages over Christianity in that, for example, it does not proselytise, except among Jews, and it does not make the cretinous mistake of saying that the Messiah has already made his appearance.

However, along with Islam and Christianity, it does insist that some turgid and contradictory and sometimes evil and mad texts, obviously written by fairly unexceptional humans, are in fact the word of god.

The indispensable condition of any intellectual liberty is the realisation that there is no such thing.

Faith is the surrender of the mind; it's the surrender of reason, it's the surrender of the only thing that makes us different from other mammals.
There is a little book who prophesied two thousand years ago that Israel will be hated by liberals.

The lesson of 2012 is that the country does not want a shift further right from the conservatism of Obama.
And what was the lesson of the 2010 democratic shellacking elections?

What dies the Arabic word "ilah" means?

If Allah means god then how you translate the fundamental Islamic creed:

There is no god but Allah.

Like there is no Allah but Allah or there is no god but god?

Or there is no "ilah" but "Allah"?

What I do not get is even the people on Fox admit Bush was so bad that he could not even go to the Republican convention, yet low IQ folks sit in here and try to defend Bush because they think Fox TV wants them to because Fox TV says just blame one party for everything and those who are too lazy to read books or take classes simply repeat the TV. Even Fox hates Bush but the Fox followers have no clue.

You people waste forever fighting over R and D. You're not even fighting over the right things. Both parties spend and spend and took the U.S. down with their bad policies. Fk the TV. Get a clue. Bush ran up $5 trillion of debt, Obama then ran up $5 trillion of debt. Bush handed out huge socialism, welfare via free drugs for everyone on Medicare, Obama hands out welfare. Bush created more regulations than any other president and doubled the size of the Dept. of Education with his No Child Left Behind policy which made his family a lot of money as they own the testing company that adminsters the tests for NCLB. Bush let 50,000 American businesses move to China between 2000 and 2008, he did 9/11 in order to be able to invade Iraq to get the oil in Iraq for Exxon and BP. He gave everyone a tax cut, did a stimulus and sent everyone a check and gave seniors free drugs to keep everyone happy so he could invade Iraq to get the oil for the major oil companies, then the debt from the wars and from the tax cuts and from the free drugs all came crashing down while the banks collapsed, the real estate market collapsed and 8 million people got laid off, and this is WHY Obama got reelected. As bad as he is people are still so terrified of getting another Bush.

And then the know nothing Fox drones think the solution is to support Bush, defend Bush because they think Fox TV is telling them to do so. How about all of you support Ron Paul, get rid of both parrties, stop lying that either Bush or Obama is one bit good or has one clue what they are doing or what to do?? It's not about god damned TV channels for Christ's sake. We have totally corrupt and incompetent politicians, that is why your country has gone under, and it is BOTH parties and no amount of fighting to defend one or the other completely failed party is going to solve one damned thing.

You're fighting with each other over which dying corrupt sick incompetent party is better than the other and trying to blame what both parties do all on one party as if, if only you can just blame one side, all will be well, all will be overwith and all will be fixed for you. Life does not work like that. Try being honest, try some critical thinking for once in your lives, and turn the TV crap and propaganda off already.

Each party ran up $5 trillion of debt in the last 10 years, so shut the hell up that D or R is better. They are ALL bad. Get a clue.
Where is Ron Paul?

<quoted text>Bush ran up $5 trillion of debt, doubled the size of the Dept. of Education, did same things Obama does. It doesn't matter if D or R is in office. They ALL took the world super power down by piling debt onto it over the last 12 years. You people are pretending that one party or the other gives one crap about any of us or that either party has one clue what they are doing. They don't, which is why the U.S. is collapsing. There is NO one good party. Look at all of those fools up in Washington kicking the can down the road again. Not a ONE of them has one real plan how to stop borrowing money. They are not cutting one thing, none of them. It's same old 12 years of not one real thing has ever been done and the country is going under from it.

You put Dems in there they run up debt for welfare and government pensions. YOu put Repubs in there they run up debt on oil wars for oil companies, they use the government as a vehicle to make them billions off of wars and fracking for gas. ALL Cheney ever did is make himself billions on every land grab and oil war and prescription drug deal he could come up with. He saw being VP as business deals for him, nothing more.
Yes, they as both bad for the country but Obama is worst!!!

The concept that the universe is designed with 'you' in mind or, even worse, that there is a divine plan into which one fits whether one knows it or not is too arrogant and ridiculous.

We keep on being told that religion, whatever its imperfections, at least instills morality.

On every side, there is conclusive evidence that the contrary is the case and that faith causes people to be more mean, more selfish, and perhaps above all, more stupid.

The essence of the independent mind lies not in what it thinks, but in how it thinks.

there has been no taking over anywhere. Just the perceptions and the the massive innudation by media, hollywood and other hacks demanding civil liberties without personal responsibilities using flaws from those who are so much more attuned to foundation against them. It is a shame humans never learn when they acquire power. they must move more and more forward and onward until it destroys everything because common sense is thrown by the wayside.
